Submersible Pump Submersible Pump Supply of suitable Raw water submersible pumpset capable of handling 6000 PPM turbidity conforming to latest BIS code. The pump shall be fitted with single vane impeller of suitable alloy for handling raw water as per IS 5669-1970 having oil/grease packed bearings and stainless steel shaft, wound stator on motor side with shaft protection sleeves on pump side ensuring better life for shaft . The impeller of pump shall be directly mounted on extended submersible motor confirming to BIS 9238-1979 with up to date amendments, totally dust and weather proof with detach able pump casing for easy inspection with double mechanical seal, grease/ oil lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to withstand vertical loads with minimum wear and tear, It should be fitted with device to take up expansion of water on heating of motor & suitable for operation on 415 (+10% ) and ( -15% ) volts 3 Phase 50 C/S AC supply. The power of motor should be at least 10% in excess of maximum power required by the pump in complete operating range. Capacities are mentioned below

Proposed Vacuum Gaseous Chlorination
SCADA Systems Supply, of electrical and mechanical devices in SCADA system for automation and real time monitoring of quantity and quality of water at water supply source, WTP (at inlet and outlet both), Pumphouses, Reservoirs, Rising Main, Gravity Main, Distribution etc. SCADA system shall be designed to remotely control, monitor, store, display, leakages and log process and equipment operating information. The SCADA system, as delivered shall operate with a fully developed control screens, database and a communication network for seamless real-time of data communication. The software shall feature an automated backup routine to protect system from loss of critical data. SCADA System to be integrated with Solar Panel Modules (especially at remote locations, where the supply of power is not available). Computers installed at central command location shall be able to monitor and control all Pumps, motor actuated sluice valve, Pressure transmitter, Water Level sensors, electromagnetic flow meter, Sub Soil water level transmitter / Hydro static type, Ultrasonic Level Transmitter, Turbidity Analyser, Residual Chlorine Sensor, PH Analyser and other devices installed on real time basis through SCADA system. Other software shall be interfaced with SCADA for conducting off-line as well as on-line computations for efficient functioning and operation as the case may be, and viewing computed results vis-à-vis observed real-time values. Automation system with real time data Provision to be installed at discharge point of the WTP, Collection Tank, MBR and service storage tanks in all lead & lifts and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work including carriage and insurance charges.

Supply of Flexible rail cum trolly system with Structural steel trolley mounted with Raw water pumps to extract water from river Beas. Trolley arrangement shall move on Rail sections which shall be erected on RCC Bed in CC M30. Fluctuation level in water is 10 m in Height and 2.1m in Length. To permit/control the movement, Winch crab (5 MT capacity) and Wire rope arrangement shall be provided. Standard rail section (for meter gauge) as per relevant IS Code shall be used. Flexible rail cum trolley system shall be designed to work efficiently under worst daily water level fluctuations. All steel work shall be painted with approved primer and anti- corrosive paint. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Baseline survey and studies are required to be carried out using performance base benchmark indicators related to all water supply components for project planning, designing execution and operation & maintenance.
Source feasibility studies for the proposed/existing sources are to be carried out to ensure that sources are capable of meeting ultimate water requirement in sustainable manner.
Topographical Survey of all the components is required to be carried out in accordance with the requirements as per norms and guidelines.
Hydraulic as well as structural designs are to be carried out of all the components in CW-MZ02 in accordance with the provision of Technical Planning Consideration, Design Norms and Benchmark Indicators for Rural Water Supply Schemes-Himachal Pradesh (Funded Under ADB) under the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Wherever necessary, guidelines of Manual of Water Supply and Treatment published by CPHEEO, MoUD, New Delhi and Manual for Preparation of Detailed Project Report for Rural Water Supply Schemes in published by MoDWS Feb 2013 as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. (Refer Table 3, Section 6 of the tender document for all the detail components in scheme)

Battery Limit shall be considered as 5.00 m from the edge of the structure or the boundary of the land whichever is less. The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work. Submersible Pumps
Installation, Testing & Commissioning with automation (to be paid separately) of suitable Raw water submersible pumpset capable of handling 6000 PPM turbidity conforming to latest BIS code. The pump shall be fitted with single vane impeller of suitable alloy for handling raw water as per IS 5669-1970 having oil/grease packed bearings and stainless steel shaft, wound stator on motor side with shaft protection sleeves on pump side ensuring better life for shaft . The impeller of pump shall be directly mounted on extended submersible motor confirming to BIS 9238-1979 with up to date amendments, totally dust and weather proof with detach able pump casing for easy inspection with double mechanical seal, grease/ oil lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to withstand vertical loads with minimum wear and tear, It should be fitted with device to take up expansion of water on heating of motor & suitable for operation on 415 (+10% ) and ( -15% ) volts 3 Phase 50 C/S AC supply. The power of motor should be at least 10% in excess of maximum power required by the pump in complete operating range with mounting stand/ duck foot bend, steel guide wire with mounting hook, lowering chain and standard accessories as supplied by the manufacturers complete, suitable for fulfilling the following requirements:- including Pump sets (working + standby), necessary piping, Control panel with starter and protections; control valves along with electrical cable etc. Capacities are mentioned below

The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes, all pipes should be colour coded as specified in technical specification, valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside CI cowl type ventilator, SFRC manhole covers including frames and covers (medium duty) with proper locking arrangement water level, indicator, RCC frames for all valves ventilating shafts shall also be provided including all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Storage tank should include water level sensor and automatic pressure controlled valves. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness all works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves shall be included in the rates of tanks . Battery Limit shall be considered as 3.00 m from the edge of the structure or the boundary of the land whichever is less. Fixed Price * Operation and maintenance of schemes from source to Tail end of the scheme in proper working condition. Maintenance of site development components including boundary walls and approach road need to be done. Planting and maintaining plants of the flowers/trees around the Pump Houses/ WTP/Storage tanks/Sump wells etc. to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. It includes the cost of procurement of adequate and proper tools and plants, skilled & unskilled manpower, spare-parts, oil, grease, lubricants, chemicals and all kinds of regents required for water sample testing, refilling of gaseous cylinders including mechanical and head load carriage etc. and making standby arrangement all times, instruments, equipment, stationary and any other material etc. required for O& M excluding the cost of energy charges.
