Rope Splicing Work at Chairlift Auli Tensioning Removal and Old Rope down and opening of splice and remove from track. New Rope pulling and bright in position tensioning and hold both side and start splicing. After splicing release and tensioning. comprising following works including loading from Rishikesh, Transport to Auli and Unloading, Shifting to LTP of Chair lift at Auli Distt. Chamoli including Transportation of all required tools, tackles, and equipment to Auli site, Shifting of tools and tackles from base location to the designated splicing zone and Inspection of site conditions, safety setup, and marking of working area and also including Removal of all chairs from the haulage rope and proper stationing/storage, Shifting of the marry point (rope joint reference point) towards the splicing zone, Anchoring of the rope securely from both ends to prevent movement with Installation and jamming of hydraulic jacks to release rope tension safely, Removal of the existing (old) rope from the line/track, Opening and dismantling of the old rope splice, Temporary splicing (marrying) of new rope with old rope to pull the new rope onto the track, Complete removal of old rope once new rope is positioned, Positioning of the new rope accurately in the splicing zone, Execution of final rope splicing, Gradual release of hydraulic jacks and restoration of rope tension, Conducting minimum 2-hour empty rope trial run, Reinstallation of all chairs onto the haulage rope and Conducting load testing complete in all respect as per direction by E/I
