Providing and laying bitumen penetration macadam of 50 mm of compacted average thickness with hard stone aggregate of approved quality @ 0.60 cum per 10 sqm and key aggregate of size 12.50 mm graded of approved quality @ 0.15 cum per 10 sqm with paving bitumen VG-10 grade @ 50 kg per 10 Sqm including spreading coarse aggregate with the help of self propelled tipper tail mounted aggregate spreader and applying bitumen by a pressure distributor and then spreading key aggregate with the help of aggregate spreader including consolidation with minimum 8-10 ton capacity power roller including scarifying the existing bituminous road surface of 50 mm and disposal of scarified material within all lifts and lead up to 1000 meter [ by mechanical means ] etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer

Providing and applying Surface dressing on new surface in two coats with bitumen of grade VG -10 of approved quality using 1.8 kg of bitumen per sqm with 1.5 cum of stone chippings 13.2 mm nominal size per 100 sqm of road surface for first coat and 1.1 kg. of bitumen per sqm with 1.00 cu. metre of stone chippings 11.2 mm nominal size per 100 sqm of road surface for second coat, including tack coat for each coat consolidation of each coat separately with road roller of 6 to 8 tonne capacity etc. complete. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.(Note: Depending upon the site condition, single layer or two layer wil be operated , paymant will be done accordingly)

Providing and applying tack coat On bituminous surface @ 0.50 Kg / sqm using hot straight run bitumen of grade VG - 10, including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing and laying 2.5 cm premix carpet surfacing with 2.25 cum and 1.12 cum of stone chippings of 13.2 mm and 11.2 mm size respectively per 100 sqm and 52kg and 56 kg of hot bitumen per cum of stone chippings of 13.2 mm and 11.2 mm size respectively, including a tack coat with hot straight run bitumen, including consolidation with road roller of 6 to 9 tonne capacity etc. complete (tack coat to be paid for separately). using paving ashphalt grade grade VG-10 heated and then mixed wtih solvent at the rate of 70 grams per kg of ashphalt including tranportation. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing and laying premixed seal coat over prepared surface of road with bitumen heated in bitumen boiler using 98 kg of bitumen of grade VG - 10 and 0.90 cum of crushed stone chippings of 4.75mm size (passing 6.7 mm sieve and downgraded) per 100 sqm of road surface and fly ash filler @ 2% as directed by the engineer,including laying to line, gradient and camber, rolling and finishing with 8 to 10ton power road roller, spreading of stone dust/fly ash on the finished road surface (fly ash to be supplied by the department at free of cost at CPP) with all materials,manpower,machinery, tools and tackles transport etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer.

Note: Seal coat shall be laid immediately after laying of the premix carpet. Seal coat and premix carpet shall be rolled together. The combined thickness of the two layers shall not be less than sum of the two layers thickness obtainable by using the specified material quantities per square metre area. (Not less than 32mm combined consolidated thickness)Note: short trail of not less than 10 mtrs length shall be carried out to demonstrate the mix,fine tuning of the mix if required, the quantity of bitumen and mineral aggregates used to obtain desired thickness and quality etc., and a method statement developed and got approved by the Engineer in charge. Work shall be carried out based on the approved method statement with consistent quality.
