M & L for sand cushioning on under ground cable proveded with layer of sand 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm depth after punning down and stretching the cable complete all as specfied and directed by Engr-in-Charge

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick not less than (weight) 17.5 kg buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below the ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below the normal ground level connected to the galvanised earth wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, check nuts and washers of galvanization of steel protected by GI pipe 15mm bore (light Grade) and watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe Light Grade and chamber of PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm grade stone aggregate and coping shall be in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 with in 20mm graded stone aggregate 50mm thick cover of RCC 1:2:4 type B1 within 20mm graded stone aggregated reinforced with 8 mm dia MS bar @ 80mm c/c both ways incl excavation and Earth work and removal of surplus soil complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part - I , 2009 with charcoal dust and salt complete and earth lead connected to earthing test point upto (to main switches, DBs) complete all as specified and testing on complition.
