Painting of Walls:- A) Repainting walls of dormitory building of IIM Ahemedabad new campus. Details are as follows. B) Cleaning of the painted surface by using sand paper and removing loose surface observed if any and repairing it by Wall Putty. C) Filling cracks upto 3mm deep using Crack filler. D) Filling holes & dents using white cement based Wall Putty. E) P&A one coat of wall primer and two or more coats of Premium Emulsion paint (refer material specification for approved make) on prepared surface. First coat by using brush and second coat by roller to get even shade as approved by engineer in charge. (Actual area will be measured & paid) F) It includes covering the floor with plastic paper, cleaning the floor and switch plates.

Furniture Work:- The wood work shall be cleaned of grease and dirt by rubbing fine sand paper and providing and applying two or more coats of Lacquer polish (Taralac or eqv.) on following items as per sample. It also includes matching with suitable colour powder if required in case of dull looking furnitures as instructed by EIC. Sizes are indicative it may vary +/- 50mm. Wall & Ceiling paint: Scrapping of the existing Painting surface using SAND paper & WATER paper to the maximum. Providing and applying two coats of white cement based Wall Putty with two coats of wall primer to complete satisfaction of the Engineer. The rates shall be inclusive of surface preparation; Filling cracks upto 3mm deep using Crack filler. Filling holes & dents using Wall Putty. Providing and applying two or more coats of Premium Emulsion Paint (refer material specification for approved make), cleaning the floor, doors, windows and switch boards etc. complete as directed.
