Material and labour for attending the complaint of water supply for leakage, pipe broken, line block, cleaning of pipe, float valve and all related to water supply find out the problems and rectified the same day without affective the services, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Contractor will supply following well experienced and well conversant manpower against water supply complaints, at a time for attending complaints all working days including Sunday & all Holidays.(ii) Complaint should be attend immediately in one hour and to be rectified within 04 hours. (iii) Complaint attended by specific knowledgeable person of water supply. (iv) Contractor shall provide all tools & Plants as required, (v) In case of failure to rectify the complaints within 04 hours a panel recovery shall be made from contractor's due @Rs. 1000/- per day for each complaints. (vi) Fixing charges will not be paid if any item is consumed against supply and fixing in the tender. (vii) Taking down charges will be paid extra against attending charges under same item and time of complaint informed and rectified respectively. Engr-In-Charge and contractor or his authorized representative shall sign the register daily. The Contractor shall supply proper uniform (blue in colour) comprising of shirt and trousers and black leather shoes for easy identification of repair team deployed by the contractor. In case of non-wearing of uniform, a panel recovery shall be made from the contractor`s dues @ Rs 50/- per day for each person. (viii) All the quantity of spare parts as mentioned under col No 4 against item No 2 to 33 will be procured on quarterly basis in advance and deposited in the store yard of GE (AF) MC Chandigarh at Sec 31 and 47. The payment of all these items as material lying at site will only be made after entring the purchase voucher in the MB. These spare will be kept in the custody of Engr-in-Charge. and issued to team as on requirement based on complaint basis. (ix) In the failure of procurement of materials in advance (within one month from the date of commencment of quarter) penalty @Rs 1000/- per week will be made from the contractor's dues.

Taking out old unserviceable water meter and depositing to MES store yard ,Supplying fixing and testing of water meter ( cold water flow ) 15mm dia, ISI marked, Class B, screwed end including coupling and all necessary fittings/acessories, nipples (including cutting existing steel tubing for alterations or fixing water meter and screwing steel tubing upto 40mm bore) to make operational, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make: Capstan/Dashmesh/Kaycee/Capital/Anand Asahi/Kirloskar/Balanto. Note : The water meter shall be tested from water supply department of UT Chandigarh before incorporation in the work and OK/Satisfactory report shall be provided with each meter. Testing cost there of shall be deemed in quoted rates.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre deep for taking out / laying of pipe lines and getting out and forming bottom surfaces to required gradient all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 centimeter thick in layer in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exceeding 50 metres and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metres above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down/out the old unserviceable galvanized iron steel water tubing 25 mm bore on the wall/ floor or earth including all fittings and fixture complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing galvanized iron steel water tubing 25 mm bore, medium grade, laid in trenches complete all as specified and as directed.
