To Carry out Visual Inspection & distress survey and to carry out the Non destructive tests & destrcutive tests and to assess the extent of damages and to conduct sub-soil exploration and prepare detail report & drawings of buildings/strcutures involved and to recommend repair methodology of existing retaining wall/ prepare detail strcutural drawings of new retaining wall of Pond/Aqueducts at Seven Tank Estate at Cossipore all as specified here-in-after (Ref Table-I at Ser Page No 17) consisting of following activities:- Note: Mobilization/demobilization charges for transportation of all men and machineries/equipment for conducting the survey work shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of the item and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Contd/___item No 1.01 Excavation of trial pit of size 2m x 2m and depth 2.5 m to 3 m (or as per requirement at the time of investigation) from EGL/Road top, collection of distrubed/undisturbed soil sample from the pit and conducting routine lab test on the collected soil samples as per relevent IS Codes, all complete including back filling of pits.-02 Nos

Contd/___item No 1.01 Conducting dyanamic cone penetration test (DCPT) by wet method as per IS 4986-Part-II upto 5 mtr depth from EGL/road top level tentatively @ 10m interval or precisely as per site requirement at the affected stretch of the pond-side road.- (08 Nos x 5 m = 40 mtr)

Contd/___item No 1.01 Detail report & drawings containing the study on following findings and remedial proposal : a. Root cause analysis of the failures ocurred. b. Recommendations on detail remedial measures to be taken for protecting and strengthing of all the pond-side road embankments/retaining walls and also submit recommendations and methodolgy on arresting sinking/errossion of the culvert abutment sinking adjdcent to south tank. c. Proposal for necessary rectification/strengthening work to be adopted for arresting the partial collapse and tilting of the aqueduct-side retaining wall adjacent to officers mess. d. Preparation of costed schedule of rectification/strengthneing/retrofitting work or any other proposed remedial measures to be adopted. e. Getting the entire detail report and drawings vetted and approved from any IIT/Govt. Engineering College as approved by GE and submission of reports in 06 Sets.

Contd/___item No 2.00 Structural audit of GSF Hospital at Cossipore shall include following details/activities :- (a) Brief description of the project and structure. (b) Presenting complete investigation data in the prescribed format including important observations during investigation. (c) Detailed specification in drawings showing all members of building/structure with specific highlight of members which are unsafe. (d) Remedial measures to be taken with brief specification and drawings. (e) The report shall contain sufficient coloured photographs of supercial exploration at site. (f) Design parameters relevant to the facility being proposed. (g) The report shall provide typical use of the model for arriving at the safe design loads on different forms of RCC structure and details on the suitability of different cross sections/grade imporvements schemes if found relevant in the project site. (h) The report shall swell upon various options to make the structural safety with respect to the existing structure.

(k) The report shall define special problems and concerns that may arise during or after construction. (l) Preparation of draft costed schedule of repair/retrofitting methodology.
