Erection and removal of pendals for all functions and festivals (SriRamanavami / VaikuntaEkadasi / Mahashivarathri) to the needy temples pertains to Dy.EE (COLLEGES) Sub division for the year 2026-27

Hire charges for erection and removal of Flat roof pendals or Sloped roof pendals as found necessary with Casurinas or Eucalyptus posts girth of 250 mm to 300 mm measured at one metre above ground level after erection of posts, the roof covered with Bamboos double bamboo mats or coconut leaves with thick covering with necessary frame work, coir rope etc., including providing watch and ward and storing water in tubs etc., complete as directed during execution. The posts should be vertical and not curved, should be uniform size without much knots and should be strong (The rate for pendals will be paid as per area of pendals measured on covering plan area) . The rate quoted is including conveyance of all materials and labour charges for fixing, removal, etc., complete . Hire charges for providing White ceiling cloth for decorating the pendals and Mandapam with necessary frame work with decorative frills (jallars) around and border and decorative frills (jallars) at the centre with red or green colour or any other attractive colour wherever necessary etc., complete as directed during execution. The ceiling cloth should be pure white in colour and with out any patches and preferably new or neatly washed and should be in good condition through out the Festival or Ustavam period and should be removed after the same is over and should be repaired or replaced as and when torn out by any means including due to rain with out any extra cost .The rate quoted is including conveyance of all materials and labour charges for fixing etc., complete . The rate is for below mentioned calendar days .(The rate for pendals will be paid as per area of pendals measured on covering plan area) Note: If, there is any deviation in the usage of good quality of cloth effecting the pleasing appearance and if the contractor fails to rectify it as per the directions of Engineer in charge, suitable penalty shall be imposed by the Engineer in charge. * The relevant conditions of the foot note mentioned at the end of these items/chapter applies.

Hire charges for providing bunting cloth of white or red or green colour to the Casurinas or Eucalyptus posts etc., complete to the full height and cloth used preferably new or neatly washed and should be in good condition through out the Festival or Utsavam period and should be removed after the same is over as directed during execution and should be repaired without any extra rate if the cloth is spoiled due to any means. The Contractor should allow the Electric and flowers decoration over the cloth done Departmentally without any claim. The rate quoted is including conveyance of all materials (Transportation charges) and labour charges for fixing etc., complete . The rate is for below mentioned calendar days.(The rate for pendals will be paid as per area of pendals measured on covering plan area). Hire charges for erection and removal of flat roof pendals or sloped roof pendals with casurinas or Eucalyptus posts of not less than 315 mm girth (measured at 1 metre above ground level after erection) using frame work & tying with coir rope, bamboo, covering with bamboo mats or coconut leaves including storage of water in tubs etc., complete as directed during execution. The posts should be vertical and not curved should be of uniform size without much knots (The rate for pendals will be paid as per the area measured covering plan area). The pendals should be retained for a period of 4 months from the date of erection .The rate quoted is including conveyance of all materials and labour charges for fixing etc., complete * The relevant conditions of the foot note mentioned at the end of these items/chapter applies.

Hire charges of colour carpets including cost of charges for spreading and folding after completion of the Festival/ Function etc., and the colour carpets should be cleaned every day and to keep neat appearance as directed during execution. The rate quoted is including conveyance of all materials. Hire charges for erection & removal of side wall up to required height with frill type cloth of approved make and colour with back supporting cloth fixed to frame as directed during execution for the function, the Side curtains should be neat and with good appearance in all days , if spoiled in any manner and the same should be replaced immediately. Hire charges for erection and removal of MS pipes Pendals with MS pipes 40 mm dia for vertical, horizontals bracings and roofing. The pendals are firmly fixed with bracings and with necessary frame work/rope etc., and the roof covered with thick white ceiling cloth along with all round frills (jallars) including anchoring to the ropes to the ground with suitable anchoring and necessary watch and ward against theft and fire accidents and incidental charges etc. complete as directed during execution. The rate quoted is including conveyance of all materials (Transportation charges) and labour charges for fixing etc., complete . Hire charges for supply, spreading and removing of PVC chairs including loading and unloading. The rate is including maintenance, watch and ward, against theft and fire accidents, repairs and replacement etc., complete during the said period. Hire charges for erection and removal of temporary Dias at a height of 60 cms to 120 cms (2' 0" to 4' 0") from the floor/Ground level using MS pipe vertical supports with adjustable jockey and four sides supporting MS pipe bracing and top covering 19mm ply wood laid on M.S pipes frame work and should be made with out undulation. The rate quoted is including conveyance of all materials and labour charges for fixing etc., complete . Hire charges for supply, erection and removal of ornamental decorative side curtains of size 18’ X 10’ or any other suitable size with frills and jallars including conveyance charges etc.,. complete. The Side curtains should be neat and with good appearance in all days , if spoiled in any manner and the same should be replaced immediately. Writing slogans, Rangolies around the temple, over the compound wall and inside the Dhyanamandiram etc.,with two coats of back ground one coat primary & one coat synthetic enamel paint over the sign boards with printing two coats with synthetic enamel paint over the back ground. The rate includes cost of paint , labour charges, scaffolding etc., required for the work. The paint should be done with first quality synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and make as directed during execution.

Hire charges for Supply and erection of digital design flex banner with required material like threads and sticks etc., to erect specified place as directed by the department. The cost is including material, labour for printing, erection and removal after completion of the function etc complete as directed during execution.

Hire charges for supply, erection and removal of digital design flex boards with frame work made with of 25mm x 25mm MS square pipe (light weight)with required back support to erect boards at specified places as directed by the department. The cost inclusive of materials, labour for printing, erection and removal square pipe (light weight) after completion of the function.

Digital design, Supply and erection of flex sheet boards with back support of frame work made with 25mm x 25mm MS square pipe (light weight) to erect all the specified places as directed by the department. The cost is including all materials, labour for printing, erection at specified place including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges etc., complete as directed by the department .

Supply of glow sign vinyl stickered name plate/sign (or) instruction boards using 3mm foam white sheet as background and glow sign vinyl sticker one layer for letters of different sizes as directed during execution in cluding cost of 3mm foam sheet vinyl sticker and all labour charges for computer design and cutting,pastingand fixing the boards as directed during execution.

Note: For above item Nos from (1) to (10) .

1. Erection should be completed before two days of Festival/ Utsavam as directed during execution for Pendals, Barrication and Dias.

2.Suitable tying arrangements shall be made such that the pendals/shelters laid shall withstand heavy wind & rain.

3.Proper slopes shall be maintained for smooth drainage of rain water.

4.The shelter provided shall be capable to support necessary illumination, PA system, decoration work, display TVs etc.,

5 .The agency shall allow the electrical / flower decoration/ PA system etc., over the shelter/barrication/ ceiling cloth etc., without any extra cost.

6.Adequate watch and ward shall be provided by the agency at his cost and dept. will not be responsible for any loss due to thefts/accidents etc.,

7.All the sharp projections shall be adequately covered with rubber sheet to avoid possible injuries.

8.The rain proof shelters provided shall be leak proof.
