Excavation in soil in hilly area by mechanical means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with a lift upto 1.5 mtrs. And a lead upto 20 mtrs as per technical specifications clause .

Excavation in foundations tranches etc. in all kinds of earth work including spade work pick work jumper work blasting work including where blasting is prohibited and chiseling/ wedging out of rock etc up to all lifts stacking the exacted soil not more than 3 meters clear from the edge of the excavation plinth sides of foundation etc consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all leads and lifts as directed by Engineer in charge:-

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand): 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) complete including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :1:3:6 (1 Cement: 3 coarse sand): 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawings & technical specification Clause 1204.3.8 in Granular materials including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts

Providing weepholes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/ reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including carriage of material within all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-charge

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required. In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works.

Demolishing stone rubble masonry manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge

Disposal of excavated earth by Mechanical means on approved dumping site of M.C. Shimla or on arranged by the contractor. i.e. through all mode of transportation including head load animal load or mechanical means alongwith transportation of the unuseful material for disposing including payment of prescribed charges of dumping to the owener of dumping site through all modes of transporation including head load animal load or mechanical means alongwith its levelling, fine dressing and to complete the work by mechanized means and labour(if any required) All useful materials such as stones, aggregate and slates shall be sorted out and stacked along roads side any loss of the public/private property during the courses of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be dully compensated by him in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge
