FABRICATION OF PIPE The scope of work involves transporting 800mm pipe from the FACT- CD store yard to the work site located in front of the FRBL compound. The work also includes fabricating pipe joints, edge preparation, setting, and arc welding of pipe joints. FACT will provide cranes on a suitable schedule without interfering with the company's emergency requirements. Furthermore, FACT will also supply the necessary consumables and power. The contractor will be responsible for transportation.

ERECTION & HOOK UP Pipeline laying and installation in the trench prepared by FACT CD's civil department. FACT will provide crane support on a reasonable schedule without compromising the company's emergency needs.Connect both ends of the newly installed pipeline segement with the existing line. Work involves cutting the existing pipe at both ends as per requirement to join with the new pipe segment, make necessary edge preparation ,fit up and full welding the joints during the water shutdown of the Plant and line up in minimum possible time .

PROTECTIVE COATING The underground pipeline needs to be coated and wrapped for protection. The process involves cleaning the pipe thoroughly by sand/grit blasting, then applying a single coat of epoxy coal tar paint. After that, the pipe should be wrapped with a corrosion-resistant tape of at least 4mm thickness, with each turn overlapping by at least 25%. Both the wrapping and coating materials are the responsibility of the contractor.
