Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Estimate rates are excluding GST as per Common SR 2023-24 CONTINUED FOR 2026-27 and prevailing GST (18% of Amount Put to tender) amount is kept in form of Lump sum in sanctioned estimate according to guidelines in Common SR 2023-24 (As per Government order FD 417 EXP-12 2024 dated 09/08/2024). Therefore, amount put to Tender and ECV amount are excluding GST. KPPP-PORTAL format has No Options to add GST Separately at stage of Draft Tender Schedule Process for Over All amount put to Tender, tender has been inviting through an Option with INCLUSIVE. But the item wise rates do not include GST. Hence, GST will be paid separately for the quoted amount accordingly. Hence the bidder has to quote the rate exclusive of GST and to submit a declaration which is duly signed by the bidder along with their tender proposal.

The contractor shall submit the details of the technical staff employed by him.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs

The cost of the Tender form shall not be refundable.

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing Karnataka Public procurement portal

Royalty on construction materials and other applicable taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders.

All the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be filled by the tenderer in complete manner.

All scanned documents to be uploaded shall be in original and the Executive Engineer reserves the right to verify the documents before approval

The employer reserves the rights to Reject or accept any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons.

All safety precautions, warning signs, night illumination, reflectors, deployment of security guards has to be ensured so that no untoward incidents happen on account of negligence or any project activity. Contractor should indemnify the client to that extent.

The item rates quoted shall include cost of royalty charges on construction materials and other taxes as per the rates provided in prevailing cost & conveyance of all materials, Curing, Watering, unloading with all leads & lifts labor, hire charges of machinery equipment etc., complete including all incidental charges. All the items shall be executed as directed by the Engineer in charge of the work.

Further particulars, if any, required by the Contractor can be had from the office of the concerned Executive Engineer, PWD Division, during office hours on all working days.

Contractor should strictly follow the prevailing rules of the labour act.

The Tenderer should furnish all the necessary original documents mentioned above to the Executive engineer

The intending bidders are requested to note that they should abide by the instructions and conditions contained in the bid documents and further orders thereon.

Contractor has to upload the valid EPF registration copy

The successful bidder has to follow the prevailing Government orders regarding Royalty Charges. The Contractor has to submit an MDP Certificate along with the running contractor bills. Otherwise the Department will take necessary action as per the Government Orders/Circulars.

Increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract.

As per Karnataka state Government order LD.300.LET.2006 Bangalore dated 01.01.2007 and Government letter no PW.134.BMS.2007 dated 27.07.2007 a sum amounting to 1 Percent of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund

Contractor should take all precautions to ensure that no damage is caused to the existing works and other similar structures which have been constructed by other agencies during project execution. If any damage is caused, it has to be rectified at his own risk and cost.

Materials like bitumen steel cement etc required for the work shell be procured by the tenderer themselves and should got tested by the quality control authority before use on the work

The Defect Liability period for this work is 1 years after completion of work

Work shall be carried out according to relevant IS/IRC codes specifications depending on type of work.

The bidder has to establish field laboratory at the work site as per GO No:PWD/243/SEV/2013 Bengaluru dated:22.07.2014.

The tenderer should be a KPWD registered Contractor -Class IV and Above Registration and the tenderer should submit registration certificate.

Work sanctioned under the Head of Account 5054-03-101-0-02-132-MDR bridges.

This Work is reserved for contractors belonging to (Reseverd for SC). Only contractors belonging to (Reseverd for SC) need submit the tenders for this work.

The tenderer shall upload the scanned copy of the current (Reseverd for SC) Certificate issued in the prescribed format by the Competent Authority, through KPPP-portal along with the tender. The original copy of the same shall be produced for verification at the time of Tender Scrutiny.

The tenderer shall upload the scanned copy of the Domiscile Certificate for having been residing in the Karnataka State for not less than 10 years, issued by the Competent Authority, through KPPP-portal along with the tender. The original copy of the same shall be produced for verification at the time of Tender Scrutiny.

Tenders not complying with above conditions, will not be considered for Tender Evaluation.
