Routine Maintenance - Part A

4.2.A.1:Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded material, spreading in uniform layers with a motor grader on a prepared surface, mixing by mix in-place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with a vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401. Grading-III -For lower sub-base - Mix in Place Method

55.4:Supplying and stacking 36mm size hard broken stone in standard heaps for measurement.

55.2:Supplying and stacking 12mm hard blue granite broken stone in standard heaps for measurement(IRC 3.2.1.a)

55.8.a:Filling up pot holes (cut and formed to regular shapes and all loose and defective materials removed) after supplying a prime coat of hot bitumen using 36mm departmental broken stone and compacting with power roller to get a compact surface.

55.9.a:Filling up pot holes (cut and formed to regular shapes and all loose and defective materials removed) after supplying a prime coat of hot bitumen using 12mm departmental broken stone and compacting with power roller to get a compact surface.

5.2.a:Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion( RS) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 - 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with mechanical broom.

OD68161/2021-2022:Mix seal surfacing providing ,laying and rolling of close graded premixed surfacing material of 20mm thickness composed of 11.2mm to 0.9 mm(type A) or 13.2mm to 0.9 mm (Type B) aggregate using bitumen VG-30 to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a static roller 8-10KN and finishing to required level and grades as per technical specification . By manual means Type A (Bitumen VG-30).

OD136510/2021-2022:Filling up potholes with bituminous ready mix compound (25 kg bag)and compacting by ramming to get a compact surface including cost of material, laying charges, transportation to site etc complete rate is arrived for a bag of 25 kg.

8.4.2:Providing and fixing of retro- reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign with 7years warranty manufactured as per IRC :67 made of Type IV micro prismatic grade sheeting vide clause 801.3.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick/ aluminium composit material sheeting 4 mm thick with suitable back supporting frame of MS angle 25x25x3 and supported on GI pipe pole 50mm NB confirming to IS 1239 firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M 15 grade cement concrete min size 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level including painting all exposed surface with 2 coats of epoxy painting over epoxy primer and as per approved drawing and clause 801 including lettering symbols etc. 60 cm equilateral triangle

8.13:Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads on Bituminous Surface @ 250 gms per sqm area, the thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform, and free from streaks and holes.

12.4:Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 nominal mix in foundation with crushed stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size mechanically mixed, placed in foundation and compacted by vibration including curing for 14 days.

13.6:Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in sub-structure complete as per drawing and Technical Specifications

14.16:Providing and applying 2 coats of water based cement paint to unplastered concrete surface after cleaning the surface of dirt, dust, oil, grease, efflorescence and applying paint @ of 1 litre for 2 sqm.

OD68164/2021-2022:Engaging mazdoor for cutting branches of trees learned toward the road threatening to pedestrians and traffic and removal of fallen trees or branches on the road and clearing traffic blockage , stacking the wood at a suitable place as directed by the Engineer in charge.

3.24.A:Construction of unlined surface drains of average cross sectional area 0.40 sqm in soil by mechanical Means to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions to the requirement of clause 301 and 309. Excavated material to be used in embankment within a lead of 50 metres (average lead 25 metres)

55.15:Refurbishment of existing signboardsRefurbishment of existing signboards of all size except gantry mounted ones to their original reflectivity & position by removing obstructions like overgrowth vegitation etc ,if any,washing the signboards with water & soap solution to remove all dirt, oil etc. , correcting any dislocations including minor repairs, replacement of lost nut and bolts etc complete.

OD68166/2021-2022:Maintenance of earthen shoulder (stripping excess soil ) from the shoulder surface to achieve the approved level and compacting with plate compactor

OD136508/2021-2022:Engaging hire charges of TATA 407or equivalent for local shifting to carry the plastic debris and waste materials collected from the right of way of the road and disposing at suitable place decided by the contractor and at the risk of contractor as directed by the engineer in charge.

OD68168/2021-2022:Engaging mazdoor wherever required for the removal of earth and other debris causing chocking of culvert and drains as per direction of Engineering in charge.

OD68167/2021-2022:Engaging mazdoor for sweeping and clearing right of way , collecting plastic and other solid debris and disposing the collected waste materials at a suitable place and in a suitable manner decided by the contractor and at the risk of the contractor.

OD68163/2021-2022:Engaging mazdoor wherever required for light jungle grown on the right of way of the road obstructing to the sight distance of vehicle users through out the contract.

OD68171/2021-2022:Engaging Mazdoor to remove earth and rock materials fell on the road or right of way due to land slide as per direction of engineering in charge.

OD68172/2021-2022:Hiring hydraulic excavator 1 cum bucket capacity to remove slipped earth and rock materials on the roads as per direction of engineer in charge.

OD68170/2021-2022:Hiring tipper to shift slipped earth and rock materials to a suitable locations indicated by the department engineer.

8.20:Providing, Fixing and erecting 50 mm dia GI pipe railing in 3 rows duly painted on Tubular Steel Railing on Medium Weight Steel Channel ( ISMC series) 100 mm x 50 mm, 1.2 metres high above ground, 2 m centre to centre, complete as per approved drawings including painting over suitable primer .

OD68169/2021-2022:Conducting and reporting routine inspections for the entire length of the project road at a frequency of 7 days through out the agreement period of the running contract as directed by the departmental officer at site. Additional RI may be required in response to reports or complaints from the police, other authorities and the public as a result of major incidence, typhoon or flooding damages etc., and are not measurable/payable. A propotion of the RI should be carried out either during or immediately following a period of wet weather. (Rate for one day, inspection to be conducted for 52 numbers/1year)
