Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. all kinds of soil
Supplying and filling in plinth, under floor, foundations etc. with sand (fine) from local quarry with all lifts including spreading in horizontal layers, watering, grading to required slope, ramming, consolidating and compacting each layer by using plate compactor or by any suitable method complete.
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centring and shuttering -All work upto plinth level:
i) 1:2:4 ( 1 Cement: 2 fine sand : 4 graded well burnt brick aggregate 20 mm nominal size)
ii) 1:4:8 ( 1 Cement: 4 fine sand : 8 graded well burnt brick aggregate 40 mm nominal size)
Dismantling old plaster or pointing, raking out joints, cleaning and preparing the surface for re-plastering or re-pointing including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground with all leads and lifts etc.complete as per direction of the Engineer- in-charge.
15 mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix: i) Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand)
Grading roof for water proofing treatment complete as required as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge with :
i) Cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 fine sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)
ii) Cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand)
Neat cement punning.
Providing structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete as required.
Finishing with epoxy paint ( one or more coats ) of approved brand and manufacture at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer's specification on old work including preparation of surface etc. as required complete as per direction of the Engineer in charge i) On steel work.
First class brick work in foundation and plinth including cost of all materials as required complete: i) In cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 fine sand ).
Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade [Payment shall be made after submission of Test Certificate issued by the Manufacturer]: Two or more coats on new work
Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacturer on wall surface complete. Water thinnable cement primer
Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade of approved brand and manufacture on new work ( two or more coats applied @ 3.84 kg/10 sqm) complete. [Payment shall be made after submission of Test Certificate issued by the Manufacturer. a) New work (two or more coats applied @ 3.84 kg/10 sqm)
Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, upto seven story height made with 40 mm dia. M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.
Providing and laying water proofing treatment in sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc., by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound, as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and consisting of applying : (a) First layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/ sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours. (b) Second layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.126 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed with water curing for 48 hours. The rate includes preparation of surface, treatment and sealing of all joints, corners, junctions of pipes and masonry with polymer mixed slurry.
Providing and laying non-pressure NP2 class (light duty) R.C.C. pipes with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 sand:cement: 2 fine ) including testing of joints etc. complete. 450 mm dia. R.C.C. Pipe G.I Barbed Wire Fencing 1.2 m high
Providing and fixing 1.2 m high GI barbed wire fencing with 1.8 m RCC posts 150 mm x 150 mm placed every 3 m centre-to-centre founded in M-15 grade cement concrete, 0.6 m below ground level, every 15th post, last but one end post and corner post shall be strutted on both sides and end post on one side only and provided with 9 horizontal lines and 2 diagonals interwoven with horizontal wires, fixed with GI staples, turn buckles etc. complete as per MoRD technical specification Clause 1705.
