Labour only for repairs to HPSV/ HPMV/ LED light fittings of any capacity mounted on LT poles upto 9 mtr long by arranging required ladder, tools etc diagnosing fault, replacing defective parts like lamps, choke, holder, ignitor, wires, etc including lowering / refixing fitting if required and testing after completion of repairs complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing U/S terminal box and S & F hot pressed moulded SMC junction / terminal box of with internal dimensions of 200 x 140 x 95 mm and hinged door, including 01 No 4 way connector 415 Volts 63 A, made out of polycarbonate or bakelite and 1 No MCB of 6 Amps with DIN bar, drilling holes for cable connections, connecting incoming and or outgoing cables by providing cable lugs/glands of suitable size, fixed on pole by means of clamps made out of MS flat iron of suitable size 25mmx5mm duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide zinc primer complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing U/S bakelite terminal block of 4 pole 63 A from the terminal box after disconnecting the electrical connections and S & F new heavy duty terminal block, 4 way 63 A, including reterminating the removed cables duly crimped with aluminium lugs etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs CT's in existing LT panels complete all as specified and directed. (Note : CT ratio shall be as required at site)

Removing existing u/s danger boards LT and S&F danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled white with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size for LT 20 x 15 CM size complete all as specified and directed .

All as per serial item No. 70 here-in-before but for HT 25x20cm size complete all as specified and directed .

Dismantling the unserviceable crossarms and M&L for Cross arms, angles, plates, channels, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of panel board and feeder pillar boxes and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade over a coat of zinc chrome primer on exposed surfaces of LT panel board complete all as specified and directed .

M & L for preparation of old painted surfaces by cleaning / scraping with wire brush, removing fungus/ algae and dust on pre-stressed concrete poles of 7.5 Mtr height above ground level and applying two coats of cement based paint over one coat of suitable primer to the pole including coping and applying two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer on street light brackets/ clamps, terminal box etc and writing pole number in Black & white paint (number shall be 50 mm) complete all as specified and directed. (Note : The quoted rate shall be inclusive of applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint as blue and white strips in alternate layers upto 1 mtr height above coping of pole)

M & L for preparation of old painted surfaces by cleaning / scraping with wire brush, removing fungus/ algae and dust on steel tubular poles of 9 Mtr height above ground level by and applying two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer to the pole, brackets/ clamps, terminal box etc and applying two coats of cement based paint to the coping and writing pole number in Black & white paint (number shall be 50 mm) complete all as specified and directed. (Note : The quoted rate shall be inclusive of applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint as blue and white strips in alternate layers upto 1 mtr height above coping of pole)

M & L for preparation of old painted surfaces by cleaning / scraping with wire brush, removing fungus/ algae and dust on PCC 4-pole structure of 11 Mtr height above ground level by cleaning / scraping with wire brush and applying two coats of cement based paint to the pole including coping and applying two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer to the coss arms, clamps, etc and writing pole number in Black & white paint (number shall be 50 mm) complete all as specified and directed. (Note : The quoted rate shall be inclusive of applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint as blue and white strips in alternate layers upto 1 mtr height above coping of pole).

All as per item no 76 herein before but for PCC 2-pole structure complete all as specified and directed .

M & L for preparation of old painted surfaces by cleaning / scraping with wire brush, removing fungus/ algae and dust on steel tubular poles of 11 Mtr height above ground level and applying two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer to the pole, brackets/ clamps, terminal box etc and applying two coats of cement based paint to the coping and writing pole number in Black & white paint (number shall be 50 mm) complete all as specified and directed. (Note : The quoted rate shall be inclusive of applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint as blue and white strips in alternate layers upto 1 mtr height above coping of pole)

M & L for adding salty water into earthing pit to improve earth conductivity (25 Kg common salt to be dissolved in water and poured through watering pipe of earth chamber to earth pit) including checking of connections and making good the defective connections with necessary nuts, bolts, washers etc, replacing of defective pipe protection, GI wire, PCC, earth work etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: PCC, GI wire, GI pipe, GI strip, Copper strip sahll be measured and paid seperately

M & L for galvanised iron / steel wire of 4 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Note: Necessary earth work and GI pipes shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate by the Contractor

Remove the old unserviceable distribution panel after disconnecting the electrical connections, Supply, installing, testing and commissioning outdoor type LT Feeder pillar box, with conopy arrangement, platform mounted, factory made, totally enclosed, dust & vermin proof, IP 54, made of 3.15mm CRCA sheet, MS flat & angle supports/ frames, independent compartment for switches partition wall shall be of 3mm thick, duly fabricated and having proper locking arrangement with slanting roof duly projected and conforming to relevant IS/IEC codes , duly powder coated both internally and externally suitable for 415 volts, 50 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire system and comprising of the followings features and accessories / components, complete all as specified and directed :-(Near SMC vayu vihar)

Note 1.PCC will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of schedule 2. Cable shall be removed from trenches and divert to new panel for retermination. 3. Taking down unservicebale street light control panel after disconnecting the cable connection and supply and install new control panel, outdoor, weather proof, duly powder coated, made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet with angle iron pedestal made out of 40 X 40mm x 6 mm thick angles not less than 1.5 M length duly grouted on floor, consisting of the following and making new electrical connection complete all as specified and directed. (a) MCB TPN 30 Amps, 415 Volts, AC, 50 Hz, 10 KA ruputuring capacity as incoming - 01 No (b) Power contactor 3 Pole, AC, 3 rating, 25 Amps coil voltage 240 Volts - 01 No (c)Timer clock type for controlling the street light, single phase, 10 KA 230 Volts AC - 01 No (d) Control cabling for automatic operation of sheet light with on/off indication lamp, by-pass switches and reterminating the removed cables with glands, lugs etc

Note : All as per item No 1 to 91 (a) Contractors representative / engineer will report to JE E/M in charge of electric supply or AGE E/M office at fore noon and after noon to collect routine/urgent works related to electric supply till completion of work. The work shall be attended by the contractor immediately. The contractor will ensure availability of manpower equipped with all sort of petty items such as insulation tape, galvanised screwes, nuts, bolts, washers etc required to accomplish the job. The contractor will also ensure as availability of every type of requiste T&P items to his trades man. All routne / urgent job slip will be repaired & got signature of user's and will be deposited to JE E/M with in 24hrs. In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12hrs after handing over of routine / urgent work, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty caluse given here as under.

(b) The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the Engr-in-Cahrge more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor be obtained on slip. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive.

If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 50/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforceabove as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. The decision of the Accepting Officer is this regards shall be final and binding.

(c) The contractor shall maintain a record of all urgent work at and if the work is repeated due to poor workmanship, he will be liable to repair the same without any extra expenditure to the Govt.
