Excavation in soil in Hilly area by mechinical means in all kinds of soil such as a pick work , jumper work , blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiesling / wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited ) and other intermediate classification of soil including cutting and trimming of site slopes and disposal unserviceable material by mechnical transport and stacking the serviceable/ useful material on the road berms as per technical specification clause 1603.1, 1603.2 ormuttams shall be left at suitable place as directed by Engineer- in - Charge and shall be removed only after attaining the formation level and after final checking of Engineer-in- Charge. The work shall be executed in workman like manner and aboid any damaged to the private / Govt. property in the vicinity of work site , if any damage occurs to any property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor , which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. The recovery for useful stone 364.97 cum @ 300 per cum to Rs. 1,09,491/- shall be done on prorata basis for the quantity of cutting in earth work effected including carriage of material with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in earth work in excavation for structures in all height and depths in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of pick, jumperand blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiseling/wedging out of rock ( where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil. If water is met in the spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be removed by suitable diversion, pumping and bailling out and the excavation shall be kept dry whereever so required by the contractor at his own cost, including dressing of slopes and beds setting out confirming to required lines, grades, side slopes as shown in the drawings and direction of Engineer-in-Charge and transportation soil to roadway and then disposing off surplus excvated earth in required width of road or on approved dumping site including its stacking levelling and dressing in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation including head load animal load of mechanical mean or incidental to complete the work as per technical specifications clause 305.1. All useful material, such as stones, shingles , aggregate and slates shall be sorted out and stacked along road sides to the maximum possible extent in all leads lifts through all modes of transportation. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution of disposal of serviceable and unserviceable material which shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respect.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain concrete in open foundations complete including form work as per drawings and technical specifications clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203. Plain cement concrete 1:6:12 (one cement : six sand :twelve graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size) and curing complete including carriage of material and other incidentials in all leads and lifts and as per dirction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain concrete in open foundations complete including form work as per drawings and technical specifications clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203. Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 (one cement : four sand : eight graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size) and curing complete including carriage of material and other incidentials in all leads and lifts and as per dirction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying concrete for plain concrete 1:3:6 (One cement : three sand : six graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm) (Forty milimetre) nominal size, mechanically mixed in foundation compacted by vibration and curing complete ensuring non segregation conforming as per drawing and technical specification clause 802,803,1202 & 1203 including the cost of form work and hauling of materials and machinery in all leads and lifts by all modes of transportation as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Random rubble stone masonry in cement mortar 1:6 (One cement : six sand )for sub sturcture complete as per drawing and technical specifications clause 702,704,1202&1204 including carriage of material in all leads and lifts and as per dirction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of dry rubble masonry for retaining walls, breast walls , revetment walls etc. for sub structure and super structure complete as per drawing and technical speification clause 704.6 and 1302.5 including carrige of material with in all leads and lifts and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Back filling with granular material behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1204.3.8 including carrige of material with in all leads and lifts and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and Laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of (53 to 22.4 (fifty three to twenty two point four milimetre) sizes to water bond macadum specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 KN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying, and brooming, stone screening to fillup the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering, and compacting, to the required density Grading -III as per technical specification Clause 405 including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion SS-1 on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer @ 0.70 - 1.00 kg/sqm.(zero point seventy to one kilogram per square metre)using mechnical means as per technical specification clause 502. including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion RS-1using emulsion distributor @ 0.25 to 0.30 kg. (zero point twenty five to zero point thirty kilogram) per square metre on the prepared granular surface treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic broom as per technical specification clause 503. including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm (twenty milimetre) thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm (thirteen point two milimetre to five point six milimetre) aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen VG-10 @ 1.46 kg (one point forty six kilogram) per squre metre to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 (eighty - hundred) kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type B as per Technical Specification Clause 508. by mech. means including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type B as per Technical Specification Clause 510 using bitumen VG-10 @ 6.80 Kg.( Six point Eighty kilogram) per ten square metre by mech. means including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
