Construction of Four Storeyed B TYPE Quarter along with Sanitary, Plumbing and Internal Electrification and other allied works at Powerhouse Complex, 2nd Mile, Siliguri under Hydel Headquarters

A) CIVIL WORKS:- a) For the B-type Quarter & Surrounding Area Development Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete.(a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.

(b) Depth of excavation for additional depth beyond 1500 mm and upto 3000 mm. But not requiring shoring.

Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work)(a) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation.

Earth work in filling in compound, tank, low land, ditches etc. with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including breaking clods and consolidating the same by ramming and dressing complete. (Payment will be made on profile measurement beforeand after the work) With earth obtained by fresh excavation upto 1800 mm. depth (including the cost of excavation from land arranged by the Deptt. within a lead of 100 m.)

Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work) With carried earth arranged by the contractor within a radius exceeding 3 km. but not exceeding 5 km. including the cost of carried earth.

Clearing compound premises of shurbs, plants, jungles etc. by cutting and removing as directed

Surface Dressing of the ground in any kind of soil including removing vegetation inequalities not exceeding 15cm depth and disposal of the rubbish within a lead upto 75 m as directed.

Cutting of trees, including cutting of trunks, branches and removal of stumps & roots, refilling, compaction of backfilling and stacking of serviceable material by manual means with all lifts as per Technical Specifications Clause 201 for Rural Roads of MORD. A. Lead upto 100 m v) Girth above 1800 mm to 2700 mm

Filling in foundation or plinth by silver sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm. as directed and consolidating same by thorough saturation with water ramming complete, including the cost of supply of sand. (Payment to be made on measurement of finished quantity).Do by Fine sand

Single brick flat soling of picked jhama bricks including ramming and dressing bed to proper level and filling joints with powdered earth or local sand.
