Appendix A- Balance work to be executed as per First RE
Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50 mm and disposal of scarified material with in all lifts and lead upto 1000 metres.
Excavation in soil using Hydralic Excavatot CK 90 and Disposal upto 1000 metres Excavation for road work in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requrement of lines grades and cross sections and transporting to the embackment location within all lifts and lead up to 1000m
Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401.
Wet Mix macadom Providing laying spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macodam specification including premixing with water at OMC in mechinical mix plant carriage of mixed materials by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve desired density.
Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means.
Providing and laying surface dressing as wearing course in single coat using crushed stone aggregates of specified size on a layer of bituminous binder laid on prepared surface and rolling with 8-10 tonne smooth wheeled steel roller For (levelling undulation and Pot hole fillings)
Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom.
Providing and laying bituminous macadam with 100-120 TPH hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compaction
Providing and laying bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 509 complete in all respects
Maintenance of Earthen Shoulder (filling with fresh soil): Making up loss of material/ irregularities on shoulder to the design level by adding fresh approved soil and compacting it with appropriate equipment.
Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom, backfilling the excavation earth to the extent required and utilising the remaining earth locally for road work.
Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 nominal mix in foundation with crushed stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size mechanically mixed, placed in foundation and compacted by vibration including curing for 14 days.
PCC grade M-15 Plain/Reinforced Cement Concrete in Open Foundation complete as per Drawing and Technical Specifications.
PCC grade M-20 Plain/Reinforced Cement Concrete in Open Foundation complete as per Drawing and Technical Specifications.
Plastering with Cement Mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 sand) for sub structure.
Construction of unlined surface drains of average cross sectional area 0.40 sqm in soil to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions to the requirement of clause 301 and 309. Excavated material to be used in embankment within a lead of 50 metres (average lead 25 metres)
Providing and fixing of retro-reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC : 67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75mm x 75mm x 6mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45cm x 45cm x 60cm, 60cm below ground level .
Providing erecting direction and place identification retro-reflectorised sign as per IRC : 67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2mm thick with area exceeding 0.9sqm supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75mm x 75mm x 6mm, 2 nos. firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 graded cement concrete 45cm x 45cm x 60cm, 60cm below ground level

Providing Road studs (Raised Pavement Markers) of moulded polycarbonate body with 2Nos Shanks and retrorefllective cornercube microprismatic lense eliments of not less than 13sq.cm and the Type 'H' studs conforming to MoRT&H specification and ASTM-D 4280 standard for luminous Intensity, Compressive strength and Abrassion, including drilling holes and fixing on to the pavement surface using suitable adhessive, as directed by deptl. Engineers.
