SPECIAL REPAIR FOR REPLACEMENT OF OLD RUSTED CI/GI PIPE LINE INTO DI PIPE LINE AND CONNECTED ITEMS UNDER GE, CLEMENT TOWN DEHRADUN

Disconnecting and taking up or down old existing CI/GI water mains and connections of any description/ grade and in any position in trenches/under floors / on walls etc including all connected fittings/accessories complete all as directed and specified for size 100mm bore Note: Earth work shall be measured & paid separately under respective item.

All as per item No 1 above but of size 150mm bore

Supply and fixing ductile iron with spigot and socketed ends pipe K-7 as per IS 8329 -2000 in any length laid in trenches including push on joints etc complete all as specified and directed for 100mm bore Note :-(i) Earth work ,push on joints with rubber gasket and DI specials/fittings of the pipes shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'/BOQ but cutting ,screwing ,threading including lathe work for fixing of joints /fittings or as required at site deemed to be included in in the quoted rate.

All as per item No 3 above but of size 150 mm bore

M&L for DI specials/fittings such as bend, tee, flange ,socket, collar Reducer, Tail Pieces Y junction double ,cross etc. suitable for spigot and socketed/ flanged end pipe bore 80mm to 250 mm bore complete all as specified and directed .

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep in any type of soil including forming sides and bottom surface to required levels/slops/gradients etc. complete all as specified and directed . (Note: The disturbed surfaces of roads/paths/plinth/drain etc shall be made good, by the contractor to match with the existing surfaces without any extra cost to Government.)

Returning, filling in, excavated soil including leveling, watering and well ramming in layers of thickness not exceeding 25 cm in each layer complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing the soil where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down existing cast iron sluice valves /butterfly valves from water mains of any description and in any position, including taking out joints complete all as specified and directed for 100 mm bore

All as per item No 9 above but of size 150 mm bore

Supply, installation, fixing, jointing and testing, ISI Marked, of approved quality, cast iron Sluice valve of class PN-1.6 conforming to IS-14846 of 2000 both ends flanged with iron wheel head and brass metal spindle , including nuts and bolts,gasket, jointed and tested complete all as specified and directed for 100 mm bore

All as per item No 11 above but of size 150 mm bore

Construction of fly ash brick masonry valve pit chamber of size 900 mm X 900mm X 900 mm (internal dimensions) including necessary excavation & earth work, 100 mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 as in foundation, 230 mm thick fly ash brick work in cement mortar (1:4), 12 mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) on internal surface of valve pit and mild steel sheet cover of 6 mm thick and angle iron of size (50 x 50 x 6) mm frame around of valve pit, locking arrangement with pad lock of size 50 mm brass, 6 leavers and in duplicate key (Make - Godrej ) complete including two coat of approved synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer on prepared steel surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for road cutting 0.75m width and 1.2m depth for laying and dismantling of CI/GI pipes and making good the disturbed surfaces including returning filling with and including and PCC (1:3:6) upto depth 20cm from road surface and removing of soil upto 50m complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for RCC pipes class NP-3 with collors of size 250mm ,laid and jointed complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for RCC pipes class NP-3 with collars of size 200mm ,laid and jointed complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for replacement of flat iron clamp of size 370 mm length 65 mm width and 6 mm thickness along with 20 / 15 mm hole in centre of the clamp and fixing of 20 / 15 mm socket/elbow/long etc on clamp for fixing of GI pipe and fittings and two holes on each side end of clamp for fixing of nut bolt and washer including smith and lathe work for making the curve on flat iron suitable for fixing on 150 mm pipe mains along with making hole with ferrule complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacement of old rusted flat iron clamp of size 270 mm length 65 mm width and 6 mm thickness along with 20 / 15 mm hole in centre of the clamp and fixing of 20 / 15 mm socket on clamp for fixing of GI pipe and two holes on each side end of clamp for fixing of nut bolt and washer including smith and lathe work for making the curve on flat iron suitable for fixing on 100 mm pipe water mains along with making hole with ferrule complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the BIS specifications shall be followed.
