Manning and operation for running of DG Set installed at Nimu power house No - 01 (02 shifts per day i.e. 0600 to 1400 hrs and 1400 to 2200 hrs) under AGE E/M sub divn by providing the following tradesmen in shift of 08 hrs for running of DG Set, operation of LT Panels, Gang operated devices and change over switches installed at Nimu power house No-01, DG Set operator - 02 Nos per day (one in each shift of 08 hrs at power house No - 01 under AGE E/M. (a) DG Set of capacity 500 KVA - 01 No (b) DG Set pf capacity 62.5 KVA - 01 No (d) LT Panel of capacity 300A - 01 N0 (e) LT Panel of capacity 200A - 01 No (f) Change over switch of capacity 630A - 02 Nos The contractor shall employ following staff per day for operation on plant in each shift :- (i) DG Set operator - 02 Nos per day ( 01 No in each shift of 08 hours, in two shifts daily)

(a) DG Set of cap 40 KVA - 01 No (b) LT Panel of capacity 400A - 01 No (c) Change over of capacity 630A - 01 No The contractor shall employ following staff per day for operation on plant in each shift (i) DG Set operator - 02 Nos per day (01 No in each shift of 08 hours in two shifts daily)

Note : (For Srl item No 1.0 & 2.0 ) :- (i) The operator shall be ITI qualified of any branch/sub branch of electrical or mechanical trade or minimum three years experience in operation of similar plants. (ii) Installation shall be maintained and operated round the clock including Sunday/Holidays. (iii) Installation shall be maintained and operated round the clock including Sundays and Holidays. (iv) Operating DG Set (Stand by) as and when required or main supply goes off including maintenance of DG set and maintaining daily log sheet. (v) DHPP and Engine oil required for run DG set will be issued under schedule 'B' free for filling and to be collected from MES store yard time to time as and when required. (vi) Proper log sheet and register for running of DG set and reason of running, FOL shall be supplied by the MES for which proper record of issue, consumption shall be maintained by JE E/M/Engr-in-Charge. (vii) The contractor shall be responsible to keep the electric installation neat and clean on every day. (viii) Proper log sheets for running of the DG set to be maintained. (ix) Carry out weekly maintenance of electrical panels installed in power house and intimate to Engr-in-Charge immediately for any defects/break down/repairs required. (x) Carry out tightening of nuts and bolts, replace whenever required and apply and grease. (xi) Proper dress i.e. overall combination of gray/navy blue colour, protective clothing, protective shoes, mask, gloves, materials like cotton waste/jute etc, testing instrument and other equipment required for maintenance and operation shall be arranged by the contractor within the over all cost quoted against the item. No extra amount shall be paid separately on this account. (Recovery will be made against non wearing of uniform @ Rs. 250/- per shift and recovery for absent from duty (per shift) will be recovered @ double the wages of per shift. (xii) Safety devices as per latest IS shall be arranged by the contractor for his labour deployed in maintenence and operation work. Also necessary T&P required while working shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. No extra amount shall be entertained separately on this account. (xiii) Register, log sheet and other stationery items to be provided by the contractor with in the over all cost quoted against the item.
