Construction of Compound Wall, RCC Pavement, Storm Water Drain and Watch Tower at New Dry Dock Premises

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish etc and mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to outside of CSL permises (Contractor to arrange for the disposal location) for all lifts, all equipment, labour, incidental causes etc complete as directed by Engineer in charge.

Supplying and erecting sturdy temporary fencing/barricade of 2m height (approx) and suitable length to close completly all the existing opening in the compound wall and any opening made for the construction of new compound wall, using structural steel sections (MS angles/pipes/flats) with necessary sheeting, including all materials, labour, tools, tackles, transportation, shifting, removal and re-fixing for subsequent stretches as required during the project, all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :-( For security reasons all opening to close with the temporary fencing during the construction period . After the completion of entire scope of works, the temporary barricade erected shall be dismantled and taken back by the contractor)

Demolishing the existing compound wall with all its foundations in all aspects by suitable means manual or mechanical, clearing all debris and mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to outside of CSL permises, (Contractor to arrange for the disposal location) for all lifts,equipment, labour, incidental expenses etc. complete as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note: 1) The Contractor shall include the cost for cutting and stacking of steel bars and Y angle sections with barbed wire. 2)The Material of the compound wall can be either of the following or a combination of the following materials: Brick / Laterite / Concrete Block Masonry/PCC/RCC/Random rubble/ Structural steel with GI Sheet. The heigth of the wall varies from 2m to 2.5m from existing ground level (without barbed wire) and foundation depth maybe upto 1.5m.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as per item no 7 . All kinds of soil. including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour, dewatering, other incidentals etc. complete as per the directions of Engineer-In-Charge. Note: The Contractor shall consider the cost for any sloping/benching/shoring work, if necessary such that no damage shall occur to any adjacent buildings and pipelines.

Backfilling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming/rolling / plate compactore, watering, lead up with in CSL and lift upto 1.5 m, cost and conveyance of all labour, materials, equipments and other incidentals etc, all complete as per drawing and direction of Engineer -in - charge.

Supplying and filling with M sand under PCC for thickness of not exceeding 15cm including watering, raming and dressing complete, cost and conveyance of all labour, materials, equipments and other incidentals etc. as per the direcion of engineer in-charge.

Disposal of excavated earth/unsuitable for backfilling and surplus /moorum/building rubbish/ malba, similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste material by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to outside of CSL permises (Contractor to arrange for the disposal location) for all lifts, including cost and conveyance of all material, labour for mixing, laying, consolidating, curing, etc complete and as per the direction of engineer in-charge.

Supplying and laying plain cement concrete 1:4:8 using 20mm down graded broken stones including cost and conveyance of all material, labour for mixing, cost of shuttering and de-shuttering, laying, consolidating, curing and subgrade compaction of earth by ramming/rolling / plate compaction before laying of pcc etc complete and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and laying in position Reinforced cement concrete 1:1.5:3 using 20mm down graded broken stones for compound wall , drains, kerbs, watch tower foundation etc including the cost of shuttering and de-shuttering, cost and conveyance of all material, labour for mixing, laying, consolidating, curing etc complete and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge (All works upto plinth level/plinth beam top).

Supplying and laying in position Reinforced cement concrete 1:1.5:3 using 20mm down graded broken stones for compound wall , drains, kerbs, watch tower foundation etc including the cost of shuttering and de-shuttering, cost and conveyance of all material, labour for mixing, laying, consolidating, curing etc complete and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge (All works above plinth level upto 3m).
