Sch 'A' Part -I for Item No. 1.00 to 3.00

Providing services for daily running maintenance and operation of Main Sub Station Birpur round the clock for VCB's, and other equipment installed at sub station switch yard including keeping the electrical installations operational and healthy condition and carrying out all daily, weekly and monthly preventive maintenance as per Indian electricity rules/Engineering practices and as per manufacturer's instruction, or as stated in particular specification incl attend fault/ breakdown in HT/LT Over Head line/ under ground cable due to any reason like falling of tree branches, Bird hits, Cracking of Pin/ Disc insulator, breaking Over Head conductor complete including patrolling of LT line, Meggering, removing of fault, replacement of insulator any type, replacement of fuses and restoring the feeder complete including keeping proper day to day records of maintenance activities (to be maintained in printed log sheets) etc complete with qualified technical staff along with proper safety devices, gloves, discharge rod, search light and T&P etc complete. Operational and manning staff as below shall be employed for 11 KV Sub Station Birpur cantt and its all incoming from MRS Garhi cantt to Birpur/ Ghunghora cantt and further outgoing feeder in Birpur/ Ghunghora cantt :-

The Sub station Birpur comprising of the following major equipment such as :- (i) 11 KV Feeder from MRS Garhi catt33/11 KV to Sub Station Birpur/ Ghunghora. (ii) HT 11 KV indoor type VCB Panels of capacity 200/400 amp -5 Nos (iii) Battery charging system including Invertor. (a) Day Shift from 0600 Hours to 1400 Hours (b) Evening shift from 1400 Hrs to 2200 Hrs (c) Night shift from 2200 Hrs to 0600 Hrs

Notes for item No 1.01:-

The Mate Electrician employed shall be ITI qualification having experience to deal with 33/11 KV category of installations. Penalty for absence from installation shall be at double rate quoted per person per day as calculated from the rate quoted.

Duty staff employed by the contractor will attend the faults within duty premises in 33KV/11KV Substation of Garhi Cantt including all outgoing feeders

Minor repair and preventive maintenance required to ensure the serviceability and efficiency of complete Sub Station complex its outgoing feeders including supply of minor spares. Minor spares will be classified as those spares which are costing less than Rs. 1000/- per item/occasion.

In case of major breakdown all T&P and additional manpower required for restoring the power supply within 24 Hrs shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra additional cost. Unit rates also included the conveyance & communication facilities required to complete the job. Material such as insulator, cable, end joints, ACSR shall be measured and paid for separately.

Earthing test register, record of commercial supply breakdown and A printed log sheet shall be maintained for both incoming/outgoing feeders to record voltage / current /PF /Energy consumed/ Temperature of transformers, breakdowns etc. stationary required for the same shall be provided by contractor without any extra cost throughout contract period.

The item rate includes reliever for Sunday holiday and leave as per labour law, EPF,ESI, Bonus, water charges, service tax , insurance, CP & Tools as stated above and no extra payment shall be made on account of above.

The Contractor shall ensure that all Safety Precautions are strictly exercised by the staff employed by him. Adherence to IE Rules and other statuary rules in vogue must also be ensured. The contractor shall be solely responsible for any mis happenings that occurs due to any fault of the employee or due to non-adherence to the electrical safety norms.

The installation shall be always kept clean and no inflammable/corrosive/toxic material shall be stored inside the sub station

The Contractor shall provide the following items to their workman. (a) Uniform in blue colour i.e. trouser and shirt of same cloth i.e. polyester duly stitched with front two pockets written "MES" and GE DEHRADUN" complete as per the size of the staff employed. (b) Industrial leather shoes with shock proof soul, nylon laces complete per the size of the staff employed. (c) Socks cotton blue colour per the size of the staff employed. (d) Shock treatment chart as per IS on min A1 sheet or nearest higher size

M&L attending fault/ breakdown round the clock in HT Over Head line /Breaking UG Cable due to any reason like falling of tree branches, Bird hits, Cracking of Pin/ Disc insulator, breaking Over Head conductor complete including patrolling of LT line, Meggering, removing of fault, replacement of insulator any type, replacement of fuses and restoring the feeder complete all as specified and directed for following areas :-

Ghanghora area feeder from 33/11KV MRS to complete area of Ghanghora (Approximate 17 KM go and back )

Birpur Area feeder from 33/11KV MRS to complete area of Birpur (Approximate 18 KM go and back )

All T&P required to complete job is included in unit rate.

Sch 'A' Part -II for Item No. 4.00 to 84

Material and labour for servicing of DG set of 62.5 KVA to 75 KVA 3 phase 50 HZ, Make : Cuminns/ Kirloskar/ Greaves. by cleaning, servicing, oiling and greasing of moving parts, checking the serviceability of self starter, alternator, AVR for proper voltage out put, Batteries voltage & electrolyte be checked & added up to top level, function ability of safety devices, all nut - bolts of Engine and alternator, proper tension of fan belts, check coolant level and if necessary top up.. Ensuring leak proof of all type hose for water , pipe line of fuel and lub oil. Checking of air cleaner element & clean it with dry compressed air (60 psi pressure.). Material and labour for replacement of Air filter elements set, cleaning of oil bath type filters and replacement of oil of oil bath filter, lubricating oil filters element complete set , Fuel filters element, By pass filter, Corrosion resistor plate, fan belts and labour for replacement of lubricating oil , complete as specified and directed.

Notes for item No. 4:

The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The cost of servicing of DG set are inclusive of replacement of small/minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, locking nuts, small springs, studs etc and parts mentioned in the item above..

Make of DG set be one of the make mentioned in the item.

Spare parts to be replaced shall be suitable for the same make and model of engine as installed at site and serviced.

Cost of lubricating oil shall be measured and paid separately.

Cost Spare parts to be replaced shall be measured and paid separately under item No. 5 here in after.

Supply only of the following new parts suitable for fuel injection pump assembly repaired under Schedule `A' item No 4 above :- Note :- Rate for fixing element of these items is included under the rates quoted by the contractor for Schedule `A' item No 4.

Shut down valve suitable for 62. 5KVA of DG sets as per existing shape and size.

Disconnecting, and taking out carefully old unserviceable AVR unit and supply, fixing, connecting and testing AVR unit suitable for DG set of 62.5 KVA capacity and testing for regulated voltage of 415 volts complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only lubrication oil SAE-40 ( 20 W- 40 grade) of Make SERVO OF IOC/HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM/BPCL/ CASTROL) as approved by GE.

Disconnecting and taking out the radiator of 63.5 KVA 3 phase capacity of DG set 50 HZ, Make ; Kirloskar and carrying out to work shop, strip opening completer radiator assembly, cleaning of tubes with using de-scaling solution, including soldering / gas welding of leakage of tubes. Cutting the rusted portion of in let or out let tubes including gas welding of new MS water tubes assembling the complete radiator including replacement of gasket, nut bolts, and testing for making it leak proof including oiling/servicing of water cooling assembly, replacing unserviceable parts, re-assembling and fixing the same in position and testing the system complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 8:- (i) Repairs/servicing/reassembling and testing of water cooling assembly shall be carried out on actual load.

(ii) The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch `A’ as `supply only ‘ but quoted rates are inclusive of replacement of small/minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, locking nuts, small springs, screws/gaskets/ packing etc.

(iii) The quoted rates of contractor are deemed to be included cost of transportation to and fro up to Work shop/service centre.)

Disconnecting and taking down old unserviceable self starter, 12 Volt DC and dismantling complete for repair, servicing, cleaning, varnishing, oiling, reassembling & testing including replacement of the following parts complete all as specified and directed. :-

M & L for Cleaning of MS fuel tank of DG sets of various capacity by collecting the fuel in cleaned barrels and removing sludge deposited/accumulated inside the tank of and disposal of sludge at a distance not exceeding 100 meter and cleaning the tank with kerosene oil , replacement of fuel tank strainer and unserviceable fuel gauge with new PVC fuel level indicator fixed with clips to the tank and marking levels for every 10 liter by marking and numbering on the side of fuel tank with synthetic enameled paint and refilling the collected fuel after filtration complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking out old unserviceable Dynamo assembly of 62.5 KVA capacity of DG set for repair and replacement of defective parts like as Carbon brush, Bearing No. 6302 and rewinding to armature with suitable gauge of copper wire, sleeve, glass paper and Varnish, soldering to commutator assembly, reassembling & fixing the same in position and testing the dynamo assembly complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing of lead acid battery 12 Volts, 180 AH including 02 duly initial charging of the battery and fixing to its position complete all as specified and directed .

Disconnecting and taking out defective battery lead and supplying, fixing, connecting and testing battery lead (Heavy duty) PVC insulated with multi strand copper conductor single core of size 25 Sqmm for 2 metre length including one side fixed with brass/ copper eye hole lugs clamp and other side fixed with brass battery terminal of heavy duty complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement for cross arms, bracing, supports clamps back plates fabricated from structural steel section such as suitable channel ISMC angle iron and flat iron GI nut, bolt & Washers with welding, cutting, drilling hole etc for insulator bolts clamps in any shape and size including one coat of red oxide and two coats of synthetic enameled paint all complete all as specified and directed.

M&L fixing in replacement and stringing continuous GI wire of 4mm dia on poles/cross arm with GI hooks, bolts, nuts washer etc including stringing and connecting complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement ACSR conductor stringing and fixing on insulator existing sagged ASCR conductor including 22 Guage binding wire line connector, jumper etc of size complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement stay assembly for LT steel tubular poles comprising of 7/10 SWG galvanized MS stranded stay wire of required length, minimum tensile strength 70 Kg/Sq mm (grade-2 quality) fixed to pole with and including GI clamps bolts, nuts, washers, galvanized steel stay rod 16mm dia 180 cm long bow 400x14mm nuts/bolts, washers all galvanized and two Nos thimble, loop insulator of size 65x90mm vitreous, clearance dia of hole 16mm, stay plate of size 230x230x6mm including necessary excavation and earth work any type strata PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate in foundation and disposal of surplus soil, up to 50 M all as specified and shown in plate No 1 of MES SSR Pt -I, and as directed.

Supplying, transporting, erecting and fixing in replacement Steel tubular swaged poles type 410 SP-31, 9.00 meter long , complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws as specified including painting with two coats of synthetic enameled paint over one coat of red oxide primer and 06 Nos bands/ straps with yellow and black colour ( 30 cm wide each)epoxy heat resistant paint at a distance 30 cm from plinth block and numbering of poles with black synthetic enamel paint in 2.5 cm height including tarring/Bituminous paint one coat on steel surface embedded in concrete foundation complete all as specified and shown on drawings and directed.

Supplying, transporting , erecting and fixing in replacement steel tubular swaged poles type 410-SP-55 , 11.00 metre long, complete with cast iron base plate , heat resistance finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws as specified including painting with two coats of synthetic enameled paint over one coat of red oxide primer and 06 Nos bands/straps with white and red post office colour (30cm wide each) epoxy heat resistant paint at a distance 30cm from plinth block and numbering of poles with black synthetic enamel paint in 2.5 cm height including tarring/Bituminous paint one coat on steel surface embedded in concrete foundation complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement insulator pin type porcelain vitreous white, brown or green HT 11000 Volt including 01 galvanized M.S. spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised. iron nut of size 150mmx150mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement Disc type insulator porcelain vitreous HT 11000 Volt 145mm highx255mm dia ball including G.I. mild steel strip at 38 x 5mm 20mm dia insulator bolts, washers, nuts suitable for working pressure 1.1KV complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement insulator pin type porcelain vitreous white, brown or green LT 1100 Volt including 01 galvanized M.S. spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised. iron nut of size 100mmx65mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement shackle type insulator porcelain vitreous LT 11000 Volt 150x150mm including G.I. mild steel strip at 38x5mm 20mm dia insulator bolts, washers, nuts suitable for working pressure 1.1KV complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling, re-stretching, restringing tensioning and repair to overhead line ACSR conductor any size as required on LT/HT Pole for ACSR conductor with GI guard wire including fixing on insulators and jointing with ACSR conductor with GI line connector, PG clamps suitable for jumper connection etc complete of the following OH line all as specified and directed.

(a) For HT over head line with GI Guard wire

(b) For LT over head line with GI Guard wire from LT pole to pole five line LT over conductor and one guard wire conductor of each span shall be measure as one unit.

(c) For LT over head line with GI Guard wire from LT pole to pole two line LT over conductor and one guard wire conductor of each span shall be measure as one unit.

M&L for Trimming/ prunning of tree branches up to 3 meters below & both sides to obtain clearance all around the LT over head lines / HT over head lines conductor up to 3 mtr from furthest conductor on pole including removing of cut branches and cleaning of site complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches n. exc. 1.5 mtr wide and n. exc. 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of underground cable, foundation of pole and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches n. exc. 1.5 mtr in wide and exceeding 1.5 but not exceeding 3.0 mtr depth for foundation of pole and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV type-1,flat size 300x180x40mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation and mass concrete for fixing poles etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) for coping pole including necessary Steel form work and finishing exposed faces of concrete smooth and even with using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking out unserviceable damaged of any size cable and supplying, laying in replacement, jointing and testing LT underground cable, heavy duty, 1100 Volts, PVC insulated and sheathed, armoured with multi-stranded aluminium conductor cable conforming to latest IS , laid in trenches/ducts or fixed to poles/walls or laid under roads/paths/drains/culverts duly protected in galvanised steel pipe of suitable sizes all bare conductor of cable duly insulated 1.1 KV grade heat shrinkable sleeve including cable gland and lugging etc at both ends all complete all as specified and directed of following sizes. Note : Excavation, earth work, cable sand cushioning & cable protection shall be measured separately under relevant items of this schedule complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking down unserviceable GOD & supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of air break switch (GOD)(12 insulator type) HT 11 KV, AC 50C/S, TP Horizontal mounting type, mechanically operated from ground, mounted on 12 insulators 11 KV grade and steel frame, current rating upto 200 Amps complete with fuse mounting, fuse carriers and fuse elements of required capacity fixed the pole structure on channel angle iron cross arm with suitable GI nut bolt & washers etc with suitable size including testing complete and one pad lock 65 mm (Godrej/navtal) including dropant expulsion type fuses with barrels of required capacity to suit load at site complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking down unserviceable lightning arrestor supplying, fixing and testing Expulsion type lightning arrestor having rated voltage 11 KV and discharge current 65 KA suitable for 11000 Volt with mounted on MS plate 8 mm thick duly painted with aluminum paint bottom of size of lightning arrester including connection with earth strip connecting device complete all as specified and directed.

M&L servicing of two & four pole, structure complete including replacement of unserviceable jumper, sleeve vice type connector GI PG clamps 'T' connector run through clamps, bolts nuts, washer connecting lugs/thimbles knife contacts applying petroleum jelly to the moving contact as well fixed contacts, tightening all the connection for its smooth functioning complete all as specified and directed. Note :- No extra payment will be made for the spares required to keep the two & four pole structure in satisfactory functioning throughout contract period other than given in schedule.

M&L for preparing old painted surface of the HT four pole structure such as poles, cross arm bracing and supports clamps complete painting of two coats of synthetic enameled paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer provisioning of marking with alternative white and Red paint strip 30 cm wide including writing pole no with white paint size of letter note less than 100mm from the ground level complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing old painted surface of the HT single pole structure such as poles, cross arm , bracing and supports clamps complete painting of two coats of synthetic enameled paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer provisioning of marking with alternative white and Red paint strip 30 cm wide including writing pole no with white paint size of letter note less than 100mm from the ground level complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing old painted surface of the LT single pole structure such as poles, cross arm , bracing and supports clamps complete painting of two coats of synthetic enameled paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer provisioning of marking with alternative yellow and black paint strip 30 cm wide including writing pole no with white paint size of letter note less than 100mm from the ground level complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to Electrical panel by opening of all burnt unserviceable cable leads any size and taking out of LT XLPE cable from loop by excavation as required including reconnecting of cable leads with bus bar/ MCCBs with proper lugs and nut/bolts etc and panel to be re fix properly on PCC foundation with repair to door hinge / locking arrangement and testing complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Copper lugs and PCC shall be measured and paid separately.

Dehydration including filtration and cleaning of transformer oil at different locations by stream line method dehydration plant including testing of samples before and after dehydration and filtration. Dielectric strength should not be less than 45 KV at 2.5 mm gap after dehydration all as directed.

Note: (i) Test result before and after filtration to be recorded as per the sample provided by Engr-in-charge.

(ii) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of making necessary connection and the connection to filtration plant from transformer and switch gear oil duly removing the inlet and outlet connections.

(iii) For topping up transformer oil will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of schedule.

M&L for preventive maintenance/repairs to transformer step down 11 KV/0.43 KV out door type of any make and capacity including cleaning the transformers externally thoroughly with lint free cloth, tightening the HT/LT terminal nuts, opening the top cover and replacing the perished gasket of top cover, replacing sight glass, replacing silica gel, replacing the worn out copper alloy nuts and tightening the earth terminals and conducting various tests as stipulated in the particular specification and maintaining relevant documents/records duly signed by JE E/M and Engr-in-charge separately to each book let for equipments/machine on the prescribed printed forms complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and filling for top up of transformer oil in sealed steel container 200 Ltrs capacity conforming to relevant IS 335/1993 as amended having dielectric strength not less than 45 KV for topping in 33/11 KV transformer all as directed. Note: (i) Filling of insulating oil shall be done by on line filtration plant. (ii) Manufacturers test certificate to be produced for claiming payment complete all as specified and directed.

M &L in replacement of defective worn out HT bushing rod (stud) complete set of three made of copper /brass with nuts and washers including threading at both ends for HT bushing of transformer outdoor of various sizes as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed.
