DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

Demolition of plain Concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete ( unreinforced ) above ground floors n. exc 15cm thickness i.e from RCC roof slabs/terrace complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 25mm thick cement concrete type B-0,1:2:4 (12.5 mm graded aggregate) for roof padding finishing cement concrete surface even and smooth with out using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing, cement concrete in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges Type C-1, 1:3:6 (20 mm graded ag-gregate) complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster including tiles if exists, from brick or stone walls, ceilings etc. including raking out joints, hacking for keys, scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roof slab or terrace, cleaning out, wetting, grouting, with cement sand slurry in 1:3 with mixing of WPC @ 2% by weight of cement complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately under respective item.

M & L for rendering or screed bed 5 mm thick in CM 1:3 in averaging on RCC roof slab/terrace surfaces with mixing of WPC @ 2% by weight of cement including finishing even and smooth without using cement complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately under respective item.

Supply only integral water proofing compound.

M & L for water proofing treatment to roofs surfaces including a coat of cold applied bituminous shalitex primer @ 0.30 Lit per sqm evenly on roof surface and a coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 @ 1.2 kg/sqm shall be applied on primed surface and laying of 3mm thick APP modified polymeric membrane (weight not less than 3.5 Kg/Sqm) unrolled and bonded completely to the substrate with side over lap of 75 mm & end over lap of 100 mm and then scaled/ fused by flame or bitumen and a coat of hot blown bitumen grade 85/25 @ 1.20 Kg/Sqm shall be applied on top of APP modified polymeric membrane as per manufacture instruction and finally it will be finished with a coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of Plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings complete all as specified and directed.

S & F 0.63mm thick galvanised corrugated mild steel sheeting with two corrugation side laps fixed with coach screws and washers in roofs etc with grade of zinc coating 275 complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F 0.63 mm thick plain galvanised mild steel sheeting as in ridges, hips, valley gutter, drip, crumple and straight flashing (length and girth as fixed), fixed with coach screws and washers having grade of zinc coating 275, complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 MPA as in roof covering / clading to wall, fixed with self tapping screw complete all as specified and directed.

S & F pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 MPA as in roof covering / clading to wall, fixed with self tapping screw complete all as specified and directed.

Taking/removing existing tar felt treatment of any description from RCC roof slab, terrace etc by means of MS scrapper patty or any other suitable tools and removing to a distance 500 mtr from the starting point and depositing as directed.

Cleaning of vegetation, plants, bushes etc from roofs / walls including taking out of root and making good the disturbed surface with PCC 1 : 2 : 4 and plastering with CM 1 : 4 and painting with matching finish complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling framed trusses span n exc 10 mtr including unbolting, dismantling framed work into two or more portable parts and marking members for re-erection if as directed.

S&F rolled mild steel section as in main and cross beams hip and jack rafters, purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails and guides for sliding door fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates conforming to Fe-290, Gde E-165 all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 19 above but except material complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for prepararing new zinc (or galvanised ) surfaces to receive painting, by coating with mordant solution including washing and cleaning ,etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over and including one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of old or previously treated steel surfaces over 10cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing of old steel roof sheet corrugated/plain surface exceeding 10cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (M.B.Green) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for old plastered surfaces by complete removal of existing treatment of wall and applying 2mm thick a layer of wall putty on wall surfaces including cornices etc to obtain smooth surfaces to achive finishing coat complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of old plastered surface of walls and applying one coat of exterior emulsion paint 1st quality on kerb stones complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. Note:- The tint/ shade of the paint shall be as approved by the GE.

Dismantling boarding of any description fixed in any position complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling timber scantling frame work in fillets, rails, posts, rafters, purlins, etc. under 40 sq cm in section complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for second class hard wood clean sawn timber framed work and fixed in scantling complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F of 2nd class hardwood plain fillets, bull nosed, splayed, chamfered or rounded on one face or edge, wrought, fixed with screws sectional area exc. 3 sqcm but not exc. 6 sqcm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 6mm thick plywood grade BWR type BB fixed with screws to timber frame work complete all as specified and as directed.

M & F for 25mm thick 2nd class hard wood eves Boarding, fixed with nails /bolting /screwing to roof lavel with angle / timber frame work inlcuding taking down old unserviceable complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 6mm thick Asbestos cement plain building boards fixed in ceiling work with screws to timber frame work complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for false ceiling consisting of wall angles, main T, cross T all of size 25 mm X25mmX1.4mm thick power coated GI grid frame work jointed angle as directed and mild steel hooks not less than 4 mm dia with arrangement for adjusting heights of ceiling with and incl provision of 4mm thick E boards sheet in panels of size 600mmX600mm with necessary off cuts and fixing arrangements for ceiling including dismantling of existing false ceiling and taking down and refixing of electric fitting care fully complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of precast concrete block walling, dressed stone work built in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for precast cement concrete Block Masonary with soilid blocks type C1 1:3:6 (20mm graded stone aggregate) exc 10cm in width and setting in mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed .

M & L for 15 mm thick cement plaster on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface on wall in CM 1:6 finished fair and even complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on ceiling, soffits, chajja projection complete all as specified and directed

M & L for preparing of new plastered surfaces of walls and applying three coats of white wash on walls including cornices etc complete all as specified and directed

M & L for preparing of plastered or unplastered old decorated surfaces of walls by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scraping down smoke soot, moulds, mass and efflorescent salt and treating oil and greasy spots and applying one coat of white wash on walls including cornices etc complete all as specified and directed

M & L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of ceiling and applying three coats of white wash on ceiling including cornices etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of old plastered or unplastered old decorated surfaces of ceiling by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soots, treating oily/greasy spots, moss and efflorescence and applying one coat of white wash on ceiling including cornices etc complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing precast reinforced cement concrete type B1 (1:2:4) 20mm graded stone aggregate as in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles set in cement mortar ( 1:6 ) complete all as specified and directed. Note: Reinfrocement shall be measured and paid separately.

M & L for 6 to 8mm dia TMT bars, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in slabs, chajja supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for use and waste of form work to soffit of suspanded slab, chajjas such as roof slab, floor slab landing and similar work n exc 200mm thick (horizontally or sloping complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for repair to existing chajjas of any thickness not exc 100mm thick and including necessary form work, reinforcement, RCC (Nominal mix) (1:1.5:3), rendering in CM 1:4 etc & applying 2 coat of cement base paint / weather coat complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for applying 2mm thick wall care putty to achive smooth surface on plastered surface or old existing suface of ceiling complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of plastered or old plastered surfaces by complete removal of existing treatment or by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scraping down or rubbing to obtain smooth surface by any means and applying two coat of oil bound distemper on ceiling surface complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing over head water storage tanks of capacity exc 200 ltrs but n.exc 500 Ltrs, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and removing all scale and dirt etc from tank and from mouth of circulating pipes etc and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position complete including embossing date of completion of cleaning by stencil with using synthetic enamel paint all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing over head water storage tanks of capacity exc 500 Ltrs but n.exc 1000 Ltrs, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and removing all scale and dirt etc from tank and from mouth of circulating pipes etc and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position complete including embossing date of completion of cleaning by stencil with using synthetic enamel paint all as specified and directed.

M & L for stop leakage and seepage from 'J' Hooks of CGI /AC/Galvalume roof sheets by using self adhesives bituminous tap neccessary T & P complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix in repairs, 75mm bore PVC(SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors and fixed to wall with PVC holding clamps complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs, 110mm bore PVC(SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors and vertical surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
