Note for all items of this BOQ : SITE FOR EXECUTION OF WORK :- Tenderer shall note that work shall be executed at Runway / taxi track / Tarmac & similar location. Site for execution of work will be made available to contractor on Saturday, Sunday, Holidays and non operational days or when decided by GE / Engineer-In-charge after consultation with users, due to constant operational commitments at Jamnagar station. The contractor will have to arrange his working programme accordingly. No claim whatsoever, for not giving the entire site, on award of work and giving the site gradually will be entertained. The contractor shall consider this aspect while quoting his rates

The work is to be executed for buildings upto 15M height above ground level.

M&L for complete removal of old paint from concrete pavement / black bituminous pavements / plastered surfaces etc over 10 cm width or girth by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scraping down smoke soot, moules, moss and efflorescent salts and treating oil and greasy spots, and applying two coats (Single pack), Air drying, Acrylic Water based Road Marking Paint of any tint and any colour as approved in lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc, thickness of each coat not less than 25 micron, complete all as specified and directed. Make: APCOTRAK IS manufactured by Asian Paints or equivalent of make Jenson & Nicholson paints Pvt Ltd / Nerolac.

M & L for complete removal of existing treatment on old surface of walls and applying two or more coats of 100% premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS-15489 : 2004 : Alkali & fungal resistant, dirt resistant, exterior paint of required shade (company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @1.43 Liters/10 Sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 Litre / 10 Sqm. (Note : The Paint is to be applied in camouflage pattern).

M & L for preparing old decorated wall surfaces, plastered or unplastered and applying one coat of acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489 : 2004, alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (company Depot tinted) with silicon additives all as per manufacturer's instructions, as specified and as directed. (Note : The Paint is to be applied in camouflage pattern).

M & L for complete removal of old painted steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10cm in width or girth not otherwise described and applying two coats of epoxy paint.

Taking down cement or cement lime mortar on brick or stone walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc. (Note : The rates includes for removal of rubbish off the premises)

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces of wall in Cement Plaster 1:6, finished even and smooth without using extra cement.

M&L for pre-cast cement concrete block masonry, using solid PCC block of mix 1:5:8 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) thickness of wall exc. 10 cm thick, with plane or interlocking joints as directed setting in cement mortar 1:6, complete

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) including removal of debris outside defence land

M&L for 75 mm thick plain cement concrete type D- 2, 1:4:8 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub-base to floors and pavings etc complete all as specified.

M&L for 100 mm thick cement concrete type B- 1, 1:2:4 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) in floors and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete.

Taking down of Nylon netting for bird proofing of any size, any thickness and any position, repairs of Nylon bird netting where required, and refixing in same position/as per site requirement, including all fixing accessories/material such as clamps, nuts, washers etc complete all as specified and directed

S&F bird proof net of polyolefine all weather proof polymer machine knotting for antislip netting dia of the net 1mm, mesh size 20-25mm (+/- 2mm) square mesh with mesh making strength 18 kgf of colour black as per specification including fixing with accessories fixing material required for installation to steel structure, trusses/purlin/tie beams, pillar, rafters, such as clamps, nut and bolts including washers etc for fixing bird proofing net to soft pens / blast pens / hanger etc at the height up to 15 meter including taking down old unserviceable net complete all as specified and as directed Make : SriJain System Pvt Ltd or Ruparel Nets pvt Ltd. or equivalent ISI marked as approved by GE in writing.

(i) Contractor shall submit five years life guarantee for bird proof net, contractor shall also submit security deposit amount i.e 2.5% of quoted amount or Rs 6250.00 whichever is more in the form of FDR or same shall be retained from FB. (ii) This item shall be executed for the building upto 15 meter height from ground level and quoted rates shall be deemed to include for all necessary arrangement for executing of this item up to 15 meter height
