Excavation in foundation trenches etcetra in earth work in all kinds of classification of soil such as pick work ,jumper work, pick jumper work, blasting work both in soft and hard rock, chiseling/wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited) or any other mixed variety of soil including shoring, strutting dewatering or removal of slush and other incidental, lift upto any heights stacking the serviceable and un-serviceable material clear from the edges of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm (Fifteen centimeter) thick layer when required into plinths, sides of foundation, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads lifts and other incidental charges.

Excavation in hilly area for road ways in all heights and depths and in all kind of classification of soil by mannual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rock, hard rock, chieselling, wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required lines, grades, width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge at site according to the MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipment and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. Recovery of stones to the tune of 384.36 cum ( three hundred eighty four decimal three six cubic metre) quantity at the rate of 300/ cum ( Rupees three hundred per cubic metre only) shall be effected from the contractors running bills on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases and further as per HPPWD specification or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, including carriage of materials within all leads lifts and other incidentals.
