SPECIAL REPAIR TO WATER PROOFING TREATMENT OF SAUW BLDGS (P-73) AT INS SATVAHANA, VISAKHAPATNAM

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in any position not otherwise specifically provided for as in roof padding etc including old detoriated roof tiles ,roof treatment and bedding layer and removing debries and rubbish to a distance outside MD land exceeding 1.5 km but n.exe 5.00 Km complete all as specifed and directed.

M & L for brushing neat cement slurry with 3.00 Kg of cement per Sqm over cleaned roof surface complete all as specified and as directed

Material & labour for maxm 75 mm av thick cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-0 using 12.5 mm gaded stone aggregate laid on RCC roof slab to make surface levelled for proper slope finish the surface even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 10 mm thick, screed bed as in roof in cement mortar 1:4 finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed. (Note: WPC shall be measured and paid seperately)

Supply only integral water proofing compound (ISI marked) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of horizontal or vertical surfaces for water proofing treatment on existing cleaned non accessible RCC roof with the following specification and manufacturings instruction complete all as specified and as directed:- (a) Preparing and cleaning of fully dry surfaces as per IS3067-1966 (b) Applying bitumen primer(85/25 grade)conforming to IS:3384-1968 over the cleaned plaster surface @ 0.5 Ltr per sqm by the same membrane manufacturer of density at 25°C, 0.87 to 0.89 kg / Liter and viscosity 70-160 cps shall be applied on the prepared surface. (c) Applying a layer of APP based polymeric membrance 3.0mm thick (minimum) weight 3.6Kg per sqm (reinforced) with polyster Non woven fabric weighing not less than 160gms per sqm by torch application. The over laps shall be minimum 100mm on the transverse direction and 75 mm on longitudinal direction.

Supply and fixing roof cooling ceramic tiles of size 300 mm x 300 mm, 7 to 8 mm thick, conforming to IS 15622, set and jointed in cement slurry and pointed flush with epoxy mortar to match the shade of the tile including screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) The colour/shade/design of tiles shall be approved by the accepting officer (b) The tile joint shall be kept as 3 mm using 3mm thick spacer and masking tape shall be provided before applying of the epoxy grout and surplus grout material shall be cleaned throughly.

Taking down rainwater/waste pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks, etc. (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fittings and accessories) complete all as specified and directed

S & F 160 mm bore, PVC (SWR), Soil waste and vent pipes in any length with or without ears, with cement joints fixed to wall, etc with all necessary fixing arrangement complete all as specified and directed.

S & F 160 mm bore, PVC (SWR) bends of any radius complete all as specified and directed.

Chipping of unsound /weak concrete materials from slabs , beams,columns ,lintel,chajja, fin , facia etc. (upto 50mm average thickness for slabs/Chajja) by any means as directed by engr-in-charge including tapering all edges, making square shoulders of cavities air or sand blasting etc and cleaning of exposed concrete surface of lightly picking materials by air blasting or sand blasting incl foreign matrials , loose concrete/aggregate etc and disposal of all debris out of MOD land exceeding 1.5 km but n.exe 5.00 Km and complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

M&L for providing 25 mm thick (av thickness) cement morter 1:3 in soffit of slab,chajjas,column,beam,fins,facia,parapet etc by pressure grouting (not less than 6 kg/sqcm) over and including a coat of acrylic emulsion cement modifier to facilate proper bonding with old surface including double layer scafilding complete all as specified and directed Make :- Acrylic emulsion cement modifier :- Nitobond AP of FOSROC or equivalents chemical of SIKA / STP / HINDCON as approved by GE.

M&L for preparation of new platered surface of wall and applying two coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre having weather proof, dart pick up resistant,silicon enhanced,UV resistant and PU enhanced property over a coat of alkali resistant primer including applying one or more coat of wall care putty to a smooth surface including making good any undulations on the surfaces including all necessary scaffolding,complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Painting work shall be carried out acoording to Smart Painting procedure mentioned in PS

M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of wall by complete removal of existing treatment, washing, rubbing, stopping etc and applying two coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre having weather proof, dart pick up resistant,silicon enhanced,UV resistant and PU enhanced property over a coat of alkali resistant primer including applying one or more coat of wall care putty to a smooth surface including all necessary scaffolding complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Painting work shall be carried out acoording to Smart Painting procedure mentioned in PS (ii) Sanding of surfaces shall be done by mechanical sander with 1500-2700 rpm with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by the Paint manufacturer)
