| 7 | Providing & applying of pre constructional anti-termite treatment by drilling 12mm dia holes at distance of 30cm @ junction of wall & floor about 300mm apart deep enough to reach the soil below & chemical emulsion (PREMISE, IMIDACHLOPRIED 30.5SC OF BAYER MAKE mixed with 47.5ltr water) pumped these holes to soak the soil @ 1 ltr solution of each hole as per manufactures specification & the holes should be pluged the filling materials including cost of all materials, labour,conveyance, T&P , all taxes and hire charges of machinaries as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Supplying, Diluting & spreading chemical emulsion like CHLORPYRIPHOS or other Chemical approved by the Central Insectivides Board as directed by the manufacturer and spraying the mixture uniformly by the sprayer as preconstructional anti-termite treatment and creating a chemical barrier under and around the column pits, wall trenches, basement excavation, top surface of plinth filling, junction of wall and floors along with external perimeter of the building, expansion joints, surrounding the pipes and conduits etc. complete at the rate of 7.5 litres (or as directed by the manufacturer) per sqm on vertical and 5.0 litres per sqm on horizontal sufaces, 50% of the emulsion to be filled in center to center etc. complete as per the holes made in trenches at 150mm IS:8313/1981 (Part-II) complete including cost, conveyance, loading, unloading and taxes of all materials, cost of all labour, T&P, sundries and scaffolding where required for the work etc. complete in all respect as per specification as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
a) Treatment to soil below raft: Before laying the rubble soling and PCC the compacted and leveled soil shall be treated at 5 litre/ sq.m
b) Treatment to soil along the retaining wall: The soil coming in contact with the retaining wall shall be treated at 5 litre per sq.m. The treatment shall follow the backfilling as backfilling is done in stages of 30 cms but not to exceed a depth of 1 metre. Rodding may be carried out to facilitate the treatment.
d) Treatment of soil surrounding pipes, wastes and conduits; When pipes, wastes and conduits enter the soil inside the area of the foundation, the soil surrounding the point of entry must be loosened around each such pipe, waste or conduit for a distance of 15 cm and upto a depth of 7.5cm and loosened soil shall be treated with chemical emulsion.
e) Spraying equipment: A pressure pump shall be used to carry out spraying opernations to facilitate proper distribution of chemical in the soil.
Note: All the Anti-termite treatment shall be executed through a recognised agency approved by the Engineer-in-charge. A written guarantee on non-jdicial stamp paper shall be submitted by the Contractor for a minimum period of 10 (Ten) years from the certified date of completion for the satisfactory performance of the entire Anti-termite treatment is Ten years. The contractor has to furnish bank guarantee amounting to Rs.4,00,000/- which will be released after 10(Ten) years from the date of completion of the whole work. In case, the contractor fails to furnish the B.G., equal amount i.e. Rs.4,00,000/- will be kept withheld from the Security Deposit till the end of the Defect Liability Period. | 922.6 | cum | 140.33 | ₹1,29,468.46 |
