Part 1: Design , Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Iron Removal plant, Pressure Sand filter & Chlorine Dosing system

OD58557/2022-2023:Supply, erection and commissioning of 3 L P S capacity pressure filter as per technical demand and site condition using mild steel epoxy coated filter vessel with 1200mm dia and HOS 2000 mm minimum and maximum thickness should not be less than 6 mm with man hole and cover for easy inspection at top and an opening provision for media removing arrangement at bottom side with dummy arrangement capable of discharging water at 3 L P S with a capacity to with stand the operating head which is necessary to deliver water to OH Tank at 12.0 m height, with best quality suitable size Butterfly / MULTIPORT Valve for easy back washing ,rinsing and filtering. The unit should withstand a internal pressure if 10 kg/cm2 . The container should have a manhole with cover at top for easy inspection of the unit, provision for door / dummy at the bottom for media removal. The scope of work includes all related civil work like solid staging pass arrangement suitable weather protection arrangements with MS fabrication and traffod sheets as per specification etc using suitable pipe materials. All the metallic parts should be painted with approved quality anti-corrosive paint. The unit should be so installed at suitable point that the operation and maintenance is easy. Details of filter media are - The supporting media include Pebbles of 1.5 inch - 1 inch, Pebbles 0.75 inch -0.5 inch Pebbles 3/8 inch - 1/4 inch, Silex Coarse 1/2 mm - 1/4 mm, Silex Medium - 1/4 mm - 1/8 mm The filter media includes Silex Fine 8/16 mm and Quartz Sand 16/32 mm. The filter media should have good performance life for a minimum period of 3 yrs. The system should be compatible as per the site condition and other units including motor pump sets.The whole installed system will be under guarantee for 3 years from the date of commissioning. The technical details including drawing and specifications of the filter unit and accessories, O&M manual with guide lines for trouble shooting shall also be submitted in two set and trial run should be conducted as per the direction of Deptl officers.
