Opening & closing of all the different dia sluice valves on different places along the alignment of the rising main and distribution main within Head Work site daily as and when required for regulating the supply of water and distributing water all over the command area smoothly including changing and restoration of gland packing of Sluice valve, air valve if required inclu- ding opening the cap/plug of washout point or opening the Sluice valve including de-jointing flange joints including repairing works and cleaning the pipeline or changing of gate,spindle or liner etc. of Sluice valve all complete,restoration works to be done including earth works in the excavation bailing out of water,re-filling the excavated earth,taking out of RCC slab cover and refixing true to position etc. including back wash on daily basis all complete as per the specification and direction of EIC.a. Contractor have to issue Identity Card to the valve operator.b. Contractor have to produce proper payment voucher in every month of daily worker to the EIC through concerned AE.c. Daily rate to each labour will have to be paid by the agency not less than Rs 487/- ( Rupees Four Hundred Eighty Seven ) only per day and bonus amounting @ 8.33% per day of the daily worker.d. The contractor have to pay the excess amount to the valve man/ valve operator during Operation & Maintenance period even after execution of contract agreement ,due to enhancement of rate of wages as per Govt. order. The contractor will submit the bill of excess payment separately for reimbrusement.e. Payment of each month have to be paid within 07th of following month.f. Non compliance of payment terms by the Agency will attract action towards payment of valve operators in case of exigencies by EIC directly as a principal employer as per avail- ability of fund and no payment will be made against this item to the agency. This may lead to termination of tender firthwith and the agency may be barred from participating in tendering process for 3 ( three ) years.(Rs 683.81+1% Cess=690.65. For 365 days x Rs 690.65=Rs 252087.25)

Supervision charges for electrical installation by licensed Electrician as per IE Rules,1956 read with latest amendments overhead expenditures.Rs 8522.00 X 12 Month=Rs 102264.00(including Cess)

During the period of Operation & Maintenance,all necessary manpower technical skilled or unskilled,all accessories ( civil, mechanical,electrical and instrumental ) oil,lubricants and other consumable materials for Blower & Compressor etc. which are required for normal operation shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost,PHE Deptartment will bear only the cost of electricity. Any petty repairing,breakdown or defect shall be promptly rectified or replaced by contractor and cost of oil,lubricant of consumable materials for repairs etc. that during the idle period shall be borne by the contractor. If the contractor fails to rectify or replace the defects in reasonable time, the same will be done by employ-ing other agency and the relevant expenditure will be realized from the payments and S.D. Money. Responsible technical representative of the contractor must visit the site at regular intervals and also on call during the period and inform to the EIC. (7000.00/1.01/1.05=6600.66+18% GST+1% Cess=7866.64)

During the period of Operation & Maintenance,all necessary manpower technical skilled or unskilled,all accessories related to all kind of valves of pipeline and vessels which are required for normal operation shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost, maintenance of pipeline releted to IEP within head work site. Any petty repairing or defect shall be promptly rectified of replaced by contractor during the idle period shall be borne by the contractor. If the contractor fails to rectify or replace the defects in reasonable time,the same will be done by employing other agency and the relevant expenditure will be relized from the payments and S.D. money. Responsible technical representative of the contractor must visit the site at regular intervals and also on calling the period and inform to the EIC. (9000.00/1.01/1.05=8486.56+18% GST +1% Cess=10114.28)

Chemical & Bacteriogical testing of Raw Water & Treated sample including cost of collection after each unit carrying to designated PHE/other laboratories and submission of report to the EIC at regular interval ( 4 Times in a year,quartely basis ) by the contractor at his cost during the O&M period. PWD S/P Schedule Item 23. (Rs. 1231 x 4) + 18% GST + 1% Cess=5868.42

Additional payment in case of enhancement of rate if any of Valve Operator/Pump Operator etc. As per G.O. Circulated time to time by the department within this period as per direction of E.I.C.
