Annual Maintenance Contract for Horticulture works in the Institute - 2024-25

Amount

Maintenance of lawn by moving lawn mover and using sward / khurpi (wherever lawn mover could not be operated) twice in a month. Watering the lawn as and when required for proper maintenance of the lawn. Weeding out and cleaning the lawn as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. The lawn shall be cut at a uniform height. All grass shall be collected and removed from the site and dumped at Colony dumping yard at desired place. The lawn area shall be kept neat and clean. Edge cutting of the lawn, roses beds and seasonal flower beds shall be done fortnight along the lawn complete.

Maintenance of hedge by cutting and shaping at the desired height with shear, two times in a month. Watering as and when required in order to maintain the hedge properly. Cut hedges leaves etc. shall be removed and dumped at sump well area. Hedge area shall be kept neat and clean as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Maintenance of shrubbery beds and rose beds including watering as and when required in order to maintain the shrubbery and rose plants properly. Weeding out and cleaning the beds as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. The shrubbery plants and roses plants shall be cut at a uniform height. Cut shrubbery and roses plant leaves etc. shall be removed and dumped at sump well area. Shrubbery beds and roses plants shall be kept neat and clean as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Maintenance of play grounds by cutting grass / wild vegetation in order to keep the ground clean and filling of small pits and dressing of undulated areas as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. All grass / wild vegetation / waste shall be collected and removed from site to dumping area in colony.

Maintenance of evergreen/ permanent potted plants by watering with water can, filling the good earth mixed with manure, weeding out the weeds, applying fertilizer etc. The pots shall be shifted from one place to another place as directed by the Engineer-in-charge from time to time. The leaves of the potted plants are to be cleaned with soft cloth twice in a month. The pots shall be painted with Hiramchi or Snowcem (teracota colour etc.) by brush wherever required.

Maintenance of trees (more than 8 years old) by pruning, shaping, watering, weeding out the unwanted weeds, applying fertilizers and manure etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Maintenance of trees (less than 3 years old) by pruning , shaping, watering, weeding out the unwanted weeds, applying fertilizers etc. as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Engaging Labour for beeding out from floor interlocking tiles in front of Main building and road in front of gate no.2 (Area = 2490 sqm)

Maintenance of trees by trimming of small branches after rainy season or as and when required, including T&P and shifting of material to specified location in the Institute / Colony as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (to be paid on actual basis in the month of work executed)
