M&L for repairing pot holes / patches etc in existing cement concrete pavements by cutting out damaged portion around the pot holes with mechanical equipment into regular shape, 15 to 20 mm deep, removing the loose material cleaning the cut out portion with compressed air to remove all foreign materials like dust, dirt, loose aggregates etc and dispose to a distance exc 250 metre but n.exc 500 m and , priming the pot holes / patches with special primer recommended by manufacturer and filling with modified elastomeric concrete complete all as specified and as directed. Make: Chokesy Chemical (Product Name "Flex O Patch") or or tech commercially equivalent product of make specified in Appx B.

All as per item No 1 above but depth of pot holes / patches exc 20 mm deep but n.exc 25 mm deep.

Make: Choksey chemical or tech commercially equivalent product of make specified in Appx B.

M&L for preparation of old painted surface of concrete pavement / black bituminous pavements / plastered surfaces etc over 10 cm width or girth by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scrapping by mechanical mean ,scraping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and treating oil and greasy spots and applying Two Coat of acrylic and water based paint of 25-35 micron thickness of coating with any tint or colour as approved for lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc using runway/ road marking machine all as specified and as directed . Make:- Apcotrack IS manufactured by Asian paints or equivalent of make specified Note (i) coating interval shall not be less then 60 min

All as per item No 4 above including removal of existing paint but width / girth not exceeding 10 cm.

Make: APCOLITE manufactured by Asian Paints or equivalent of make Specified

All as per item No 6 above including removal of existing paint but width / girth not exceeding 10 cm.

Taking down cement plaster on brick, stone or concrete surface including racking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water to receive plaster a, etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulders masonry, built in cement mortar, including all quoins, arches, pillars etc., but excluding ashlars facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for precast PCC solid block masonry 1:5:8 (Type D1) straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius, exc 10 cm width and set in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick on stone masonary/concrete surfaces/ block surface in cement mortar (1:6) finished even and smooth without using extra cement for surfaces of Area Drain complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC (1:2:4) Type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate ) in coping, including necessary form work finished fair and even surface without using extra cement including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throatingcomplete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floor and paving n exc 15 cm thickness and removing material to a distance 100 meter or under as directed by engineer in charge

M&L for PCC in surface channels and drains type B2 (1:2:4) using 40 mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of plastered or unplastered old decorated surfaces of wall, concrete surface etc by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scraping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and treating oil and greasy spots and applying two coats of white wash (lime) wash complete all as specified and as directed.

Deployment of T&P and labour for cutting and removing the grasses / vegetation growth in the surrounding area of runway, taxi track and dispersals by using tractor equipped with jungle jim and disposing off all the rubbish to distance exc 250 meter but not exc 500 meter complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Considering the working hours contractor will deploy minimum 02 Nos tractor equipped with jungle jim of each working days.

Maintenance of runway shoulders and surrounding area by cutting of grass, plants, shrubs, vegetation's and bushes from runway shoulders, taxi tracks, dispersal area and entire airfield area by using grass cutting machine with steel blade cutter/ nylon wire cutter, of Make grass/ bush machine cutter of "OLEO MAC" or approved brand and type including removal of all debris to distance exc 500 meter but not exc 1.5 KM complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (a) The tenderers are advised to visit the site and make themselves fully aware of the area to be maintained as specified in the Schedule 'A' (BOQ) and particular specifications. (b) The grass, plants, shrubs, vegetation and bushes shall not be allowed to grow more than 15cm from the ground level at any time.

(c) Minimum 6 machines with operators (un-skilled labourers) (including fuel/lubricants and spares etc shall be deployed each day for minimum 20 (Twenty) days in a calendar month throughout the contract period with minimum 6 hours working time with minimum of 4 litre fuel per machine in a day. A recovery equal to double the rate for un-skilled labourer calculated based on the contractor's quoted rate per head per day will be deducted from any amount due to contractor in case of his failure to comply with the conditions for providing minimum number of labourer for minimum number of days given above. Contractor shall deploy un-skilled labourers along with tools & plants and machine etc to execute the work as per scope of work covered in this contract.Min area of grass cutting per day per labour shall be 100 sqm . (d) Unit rates quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to include for the provision of making good the shallow pits, if any, in the specified area mentioned above and cleaning the site of runway air field area and taxi track as dirceted by Engineer-In- Charge in the Schedule 'A' (BOQ) and nothing extra shall be paid to the contractor on this account.

Ploughing in any type of soil with disc plough mechanically operated with average depth of 45 cm running the plough in long and traverse direction and cleaning away of all grass / vegetable spoils, shrubs under growth roots and removing rubbish including breaking lumps by rotavator, removing hard objects etc from the surfaces to a distance exc 150 metre but not exc 500 metre all as specified and as directed. Note:- Logbook containing detail of date and time of ploughing, location, shall be maintained by the contractor and shall be signed by the Engineer-in-Charge & contractor.

Supply and fix in repairs 4 mm thick ACP board, suitable for fixing stickers in one side for various types of Sign board in Air Field area with letters, pattern, shape of any size, all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for HIP (Reflective) stickers in various size and shape on different types of sign boards of Air field area using 3M ™ High Intensity Grade Prismatic Reflective sheeting 3930 to 3937 series of approved colour fixing with pressure sensitive adhesive for unique construction providing high levels of retro reflectivity for multiple traffic situations providing long term reflectivity and durability including AV 450 series colour vinyl stickers of various size and shape sign boards as writing numerals, alphabets, border and arrow complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Removing old paint by paint removers or burning off by blow lamps and cleaning with scrapers, any number of coats, any width or girth all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of PCC drain not exceeding 1.5 metre deep by scraping and cleaning, removing of deposited soft / loose soil, and other foreign materials not exc 30 cm deep and average 15 cm deep and removal of excavated material to a distance exc 250 m but n.exc 500 m complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- width of bottom of drain multiplied by the length of drain cleaned shall be measured for payment.

M&L for providing precast cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B1 (20mm garded aggregate ) in landings, cover slabs (for Drain.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces, including formwork as required. Note: Reinforcement steel shall be measured and paid separately

M&L Mild steel CRS bars 6to8mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips ( Gde Fe 500/FE550D) complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of RCC manhole and cover slab of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for including removal of debries outside MD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for All items of this BOQ : SITE FOR EXECUTION OF WORK :- Tenderer shall note that work shall be executed at Runway / taxi track / Tarmac & similar location. Site for execution of work will be made available to contractor on Saturday, Sunday, Holidays and non operational days or when Runway will made available by GE / Engineer-In-charge after consultation with users, due to constant operational commitment at Jamnagar station. The contractor will have to arrange his working programme accordingly. No claim whatsoever, for not giving the entire site, on award of work and giving the site gradually will be entertained. The contractor shall consider this aspect while quoting his rates
