Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and other intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required lines, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORD 2014 technical specification 2014 clause 302,1603.1, 1603.2 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus un-useful material to acquired width of the road or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animals transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and/or labour if required. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts. A recovery of useful stone for 341.47cum ( Three hundred forty one decimal four seven) cubic metre @ Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic metre shall be effected on pro-rata basis in each running bill from this item. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and technical specification MORD 2014 clause 305.1 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto all leads and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (One hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge and carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying plain/reinforced concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated in open foundation retaining walls, breast walls etcetra complete as per drawings and MORD technical specfications 800 and 1200 nominal mix 1:5:10 (One cement : five sand : Ten graded crushed stone aggregate) 40mm (Forty millimetre) nominal size including cost of form work and curing complete without plum as per HPPWD specification complete in all respect including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundation plain cement concrete nominal mix 1:4:8(One cement : four sand : eight graded crushed stone aggregate) on ground or under water and curing complete including pumping or bailing out water, dewatering removal of slush as required at site which may arise at the time of laying under water complete for all heights/depths including the cost of form work as per drawings and technical specification MORD of 2014 clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying M-10 (ten) grade design mix plain cement concrete in drains and open foundation for all type of structures on ground or under water and curing complete including pumping or bailing out water, dewatering removal of slush as required at site which may arise at the time of laying under water complete for all heights/depths including the cost of form work as per drawings and technical specification MORD 2014 clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Construction of Dry stone masonry for retaining wall breast wall revetment wall and parapets for sub structure and super structure complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 700 including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry / Stone masonry / plain/reinforced concrete in abutment retaining walls, breast walls and the like with 100 mm ( One hundred millimetre ) dia PVC pipe Finolex/ Supreme having pressure not less than 4.00 Kg/Cm² ( four kilogramme ) per centimetre square extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1(V):20(H) ( one vertical : twenty horizontal) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification of MORD 2014 clause 614,709,11206.6 in all leads and lifts and carriage of material by all modes of transportation as per the direction of Engineer- in-chrage. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Back filling behind abutment , wing walls and return walls complete as per drawings and technical specification 2014 Clause 1204.3.8. with Granular Material and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying (to level and slopes) 900mm dia (Nine hundred millimetre dia metre) reinforced cement concrete heavy duty non pressure pipe I.S. class NP-2 ( Two) for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collars with cement mortar 1:2 (One cement : two sand) but excluding the cost of excavation, protection work, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets as per drawing and technical specification MORD 2014 clause 1101 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying concrete cradle bedding with M-15 (fifteen) grade flooring laid over cement concrete bedding complete as per drawing and technical specification MORD 2014 Clause 1303 including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Construction of un-reinforced, dowel jointed at expansion and construction joint only, plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43 grade cement or any other type as per Clause 1501.2.2 M30 (Grade), coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing), spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, sealant, dowel bars, near approaches to bridge/culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14-days, using curing compound ( where specified ) and wa ter finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and MORD 2014 Technical specification clause 1501 including hauling of material within all leads and lifts and other incidental charges and as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specific sizes 63-45mm (Sixty three to forty five millimetres) to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN (eighty by hundred Kilo Newton) in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading-II by manual means as per technical Specification Clause 405 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specific sizes 53-22.4mm (fifty three to twenty two point four millimetres) to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN (eighty by hundred Kilo Newton) in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading-III by manual means as per technical Specification Clause 405 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen Emulsion (SS-1) made of HPCL/ BPCL on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer @ 0.70 to 1.00kg/sqm (Zero point seven zero to one point zero kilogram per square metre ) using mechanical means as per Technical Specification MORD 2014 Clause 502 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) made of HPCL/ BPCL using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 Kg to 0.30 Kg per sqm (Zero point two five to zero point three zero kilogram) per square metre on the prepared granular surface treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic broom as per technical specification MORD 2014 clause 503 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm (twenty millimeter) thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm (thirteen point two millimeter to five point six millimeter) aggregates using bitumen VG-10 penetration grade bitumun mixed with organo silane nano technology @ 0.1% by weight of bitumun 14.6 KG per 10 Square metres to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN (eighty-one hundred kilo newton) static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of Type B as per Technical Specification MORD 2014 Clause 508 by mechnical means including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid of the specified levels grade and cross fall using Type-B as per MORD 2014 Technical specfication clause 508 of MORD with bitumen VG-10 @ 0.68 Kg (zero point six eight Killogramme )per Square mixed with organo silane nano technology @ 0.1% ( by weight of bitumen binder laid as per direrction of Engineer-in-charge. including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and fixing semi reflective cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign board as per IRC:67 made of 1.5 mm(one point five millimetre) thick MS Sheet duly stove white colour in front and grey colour on back with red reflective border of 65 mm (sixty five millimetre) width and required letters and figures with reflective tape engineering grade as per Clause 1701.3.9 of MORD for Rural Roads of required shade and colour supported and welded on 47mm x 47 mm x 12 SWG (forty seven milimetre in to forty seven millimetre into twelve SWG) sheet tube firmly fixed to the ground by mean of properly designed foundations with M-15 (fifteen) grade cement concrete 450x450x600 mm ( four hundred fifty into four hundred fifty into six hundred millimetre) , 600 mm ( six hundred millimetre) below ground level as per approved drawing Clause 1701.2.2 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
