Earth work in excavation for foundations. Plinth beams, trenches, pipe lines, inspection Chambers etc. in all types of soils, mixture of gravel and disintegrated rock other than hard rock up to a depth of 4.00 m including shoring, strutting, bailing and pumping of water, leveling and ramming the bottom of excavation, refilling with selected materials in the sides of the foundation, in layers and consolidating and disposal of surplus materials at places as directed within a lead of 1 km all as per specifications. If required, pumping out of water in excavation area will be in contractor scope, required temporary dyke construction & removal is in contractor's scope.

Providing and casting in situ concrete of grade 1:2:4 using stone of max. size 20 mm including form work, mixing, transporting, placing as base course, consolidating, curing and finishing smooth all exposed faces for all in situ items as per drawings and specifications (The rate quoted shall be inclusive of formwork required if any). NOTE: (i) Min. Consumption of cement is assumed at 240 kgs./Cum (ii) Bidder shall consider cost of shuttering while quoting the rate.

Providing and casting in situ RCC of grade M - 30 conforming to IS 456-2000 using stone of max. size 20 mm including form work, scaffolding, mixing, adding Admixture, transporting, placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidating, curing and finishing smooth all exposed faces for all in situ items.(The rate quoted shall be exclusive of reinforcement but inclusive of formwork, Admixure etc.) NOTE: (i) Design Mix preparation shall be obtained from reputed NABL approved Concrete Testing Laboratory & to be submitted to EIC before start of the work. (ii) Addition of admixture to accelerate, retard setting of concrete/ to improve workability without impairing strength and durability of concrete as per IS: 9103. (iii) No additional payment shall be made for either Admixture or additional cement used.

Providing, straightening, decoiling wherever necessary bending, cutting, binding and fixing in position steel reinforcement TMT bars of Fe500D/550D grade steel conforming to IS:1786 - TATA / SAIL / VIZAG / JINDAL make' and tying with binding wire of 1.6mm dia in all reinforced cement concrete work at all lifts including cost of supplying and fixing the spacer/cover blocks (As per Drawing) in cement mortar 1:2 and binding wire complete all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at all lifts. NOTE: The rate shall be including the cost of reinforcement steel. The reinforcement steel will be procured from dealers with a test certificate as approved by the department.

Providing and laying of Granular sub-base (GSB-II) using close graded material conforming to specifications including mixing in a mechanical mix plant / manually, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness as directed by EIC with mechanical equipment / manually to be laid on prepared surface and compacting with hand roller / manually as per site conditions to achieve good compaction, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC).

Providing, fabricating and embedding in position Structural steel sections such tees, Angles, flats, channels,trusses, I sections, Anchor bolts etc. with painting with approved brand to exposed surface only. NOTE: (a) All surfaces of embedded parts in contact with concrete shall be left unpainted. All exposed surface shall be cleaned by suitable mechanical means to commercial finish and shall be painted with two coats of Epoxy paint over two coats of Zinc rich primer. (b) All steel shall be procured and supplied by the Contractor, from reputed sources. Structural steel shall be procured by the contractor conforming to relevant IS codes and manufactured by M/s SAIL / TATA / VIZAG / JINDAL only.

Providing and fixing G.I. chain link fencing of mesh 50x50x3mm square opening have 275 GSM and fixing with the existing steel post and struts by removing of existing MS flats (if provided with the post) and to provide 03 Nos. 4mm dia. GI wire (horizontally) at equal distance in chain link fencing with turn buckles at appropriate distance in full length of new fencing. After fixing new chain link fencing re-fix the flats with posts again including cost of materials, labours, scaffolding, making holes in steel structures, GI nuts, bolts, fasteners, manpower, welding, tools and tackles etc. completed as per directed by Engineer in charge. NOTE: 1) Payment towards fixing of new MS flats if any required with existing steel structure for fixing GI chain link fencing will be paid under relevant item. 2) Before fixing New G.I. chain link fencing, Dismantling of existing chain link fencing with steel structure & concertina coil is in contractor's scope. Also Contractor has to disposed Unserviciable material & Serviciable material as per EIC's Instruction within lead of 1 km.

Providing and fixing Galvanized Concertina Razor wire coil of 600mm diameter having minimum zinc coating of 180 GSM, using core diameter of wire 2.5mm of Hot dip galvanized, barb profiles MBBT i.e. (medium blade, Blade length 22mm, Distance between barb 35mm with galvanized clips) up to a height 3.6M from ground level along with 03 (three) horizontal razor wires of same wire used in concertina coil to be tied at equal spaces with coil to keep concertina coil in firm position as directed by EIC. NOTE: 1. Contractor has to quote rate with considering the cost of all materials, transportation, scaffolding, tools & tackles, labour etc. 2. Only fencing length will be measured and paid in running meter.

Supplying Hydraulic Excavator 3D machine for departmental works like clearing of debris, earthwork excavation, filling of earth, brick bat pieces, RCC/Concrete dismantling, uprooting tree roots, pushing the debris in pits & low laying area, levelling work etc. in KAPS plant site premises including the cost of JCB operator, cleaner, lubricant, fuel etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: 1. The logbook is to be maintained and the payment will be made on Operation basis of the JCB machine used. 2. No extra payment will be made from bringing the JCB at site as well as to take out after completion of work. 3. The payment for breakdown (if any), lunch time, stopped without work etc. shall will not be paid. 4. Maintenance of JCB machine is under scope of contractor. 5. Eight (08) working Hours will be considered as one operation.

Dismantling carefully existing RCC structure at all levels by mechanical or manual means, including stacking serviceable materials and disposing of unserviceable materials within a lead of 1.5 km or spreading the debris as mentioned by engineer. Item includes cost of labour, erection and de-erection of scaffolding, tools & tackles, loading, transportation, unloading etc. all complete as directed by engineer in charge. NOTE: 1. Scaffolding materials in in contractor's scope. 2. Transportation, erection and de-erection of scaffolding cost is in contractor's scope.
