Special Repairs Work at Ashoka Rock Edict Kalsi District Dehradun -Uttarakhand.

Demolishing of dead cement concrete, cobble stone soling, damaged stone slab, bulged RR stone masonry manually including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix) [M3]

Excavation work by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soils as directed, within a lead of 50 m. [M3]

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved. [M3]

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineerin- charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note: - This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done. [M2]

P/L lime concrete on the floor level in 50% 1:1:1 lime mortar with 20 mm down gauge stone aggregate including curing etc complete. [M3]

Random rubble masonry with hard stone in superstructure above plinth level and upto floor five level, including leveling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) at window sills, ceiling level and the like.Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

P/L 30 to 40mm thick stone flooring of different sizes over 20mm thick base of 1:1:1 LCM laid & jointed with slurry including cutting, dressing, fixing & curing etc. matching to the old structure of the temple .

Taking out the old decayed and termitted deodar wood panels, chowkhat and other wooden members of door and windows very carefully and stacking properly serviceable material and disposal unserviceable etc complete.

Providing and laying deodar wood panels, chowkhat and other wooden members of door and windows very carefully as per old design/pattern including cutting dressing, planeing, polishing and fixing with fevicole nails and nut bolts etc .and providing anti termite oil on the surface of wood structure. New wood 75%

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)

Cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) in pavements, laid to required slope and camber in panels as required including consolidation finishing and tamping complete.

provision for stone rubble pitching 10 to 15 cm thick laid in courses and required profile with stones with minimum depth of 10 cm laid in cement mortar etc. all complete.

Provision for covering the rock edict with thermocole and air bubble sheet for safety of the inscriptions during conservation work.

provision for water tightening of the dome structure on the roof on the rock edict in 1:1:1 LCM etc complete

Provision for installation of wooden windows with glazed panels along with all necessary accessories etc complete..

Provision for RR stone masonry in substucture/superstructure in 1:1:1 (1 Lime: 1Surkhi: 1 sand)LCM including curing etc complete.

Provision for providing MS grating in 50x50x5 MS angle and 40x5 MS strip on the top of drain to prevent the water flow on the pavement.
