Repairs to 750mm dia rising main by way of following steps (a.)Repairs to the minor leakage at 08 spots along 750mm dia M.S rising main at various cracked portions of pipe, pipe flanges, end to end joints, rusted bolts etc. by way of multiple weld runs, using M.S filler material and using appropriate sized of M.S plate of 3mm thick wherever required to make joint strong and leak proof. The job includes hire charges of D.G set, welding set, Gas cutter, load carrier, manual labours and skilled welder for completing the repair work. After successful completion of repair work, the rising main shall be tested on full load. (b.)Repairs to major leakage at 06spots along 750mm dia. M.S rising main by way of cutting appropriate size of windows to the rising main by using oxyacetylene gas plant at site for cutting of window to M.S pipe in order to carry out welding works inside the pipe. After making window in the pipe the same shall be dewatered along with dug out trench using dewatering pump till the pipe becomes dry so that the welding works can be carried inside pipe. The job then involves cleaning of rust around pipe by chipping off rusted layers inside the pipe. The cracked portion of the pipe shall be plugged by using M.S flat plat of 3mm thick, 75mm width of suitable length to cover circumferential & longitudinal crack inside/outside the pipe.. The job includes the hire charges on a/c of using D.G set, welding set, Gas cutter, load carrier, manual earth exavation, dewatering pump, manual labours, superior quality electrodes and skilled welder for completing the repair work. After successful completion of repair work, the rising main shall be tested on full load C).Repairs to 200mm dia M.S rising main of lift irrigation scheme Zehanpora at 08 major leaking spots by way of welding work at site. The job includes the charge for earth exaction manually in paddy fields to rectify the cracked portion and welding it properly with superior quality electrodes & then using M.S flat plate of 2mm thick, 50mm width of suitable length to cover circumferential & longitudinal cracked portion to make joint strong & leak proof. The job also includes the charge for replacement of damaged nuts & bolts, R.I cloth of 200mm dia NRV fitted in rising main with new one for the completion of work. The job includes the hire charges on a/c of using D.G set, welding set, Gas cutter, load carrier, earth excavation manually, manual labours, superior quality electrodes and skilled welder for completing the repair work. The job also includes the hire charge for dragging above equipments from road side to paddy fields for completing the welding work which is the difficult portion of the job. After successful completion of repair work, the rising main shall be tested on full load.
