SECTION - I (CHANDIGARH AREA ) Testing / Servicing / Comprehensive maintenance and repair including renewal/ replacement of defective parts of all existing fire protection system complete of following fire protection system installed at various location once in a month for 100% serviceability of the complete including checking of fire detectors, cleaning of detector by removing dust or dirt, cleaning of heavy greasy deposit if any, checking the connection of batteries, specific gravity of electrolyte, wiring connection of detectors/hooter/response indicator and the alarm function of control panel and indicating eqpt be checked by the operation of trigger device of the fire alarm system installed in the following buildings and replacing the defective / unserviceable parts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE:- (i) Cost of new components/parts shall be paid for separately under relevant item of Schedule 'A' Sec l item 02 to 11. (ii) Contractor's rep will visit minimum once in a month to every panel and take serviceability certificate duly signed by the users. Additional visit as and when required will not be paid as extra. Supply only fire protection system consisting of micro controller based main fire control panel cum PA system of 2 to 48 zone expandable type 230 volt AC standby supply 24/36V DC and output 24V DC complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only fire alarm panel of 04 zones with LCD display facility and advanced micro controller based circuit complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing of canvas hose pipe 63mm dia with male female coupling 15 mtr long reinforced rubber lined hose pipe conforming to IS 636-1962 Part-A with gun metal male & female coupling complete all as specied and directed incl dismantling of old one.

Supply and fixing for swining Hose reel Hydraulic Rubber braided hose of 36mtr long and dia 20mm with ABS Nozzle PVC, wall bracket with U Shaped CI reel carier finished in Red and black enamelled paint incl taking dismantling of old one complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 13.00 herein before but reel drum 30 mtr long.

Supply and fixing for single headed landing valve brass ISI marked with 80mm dia flanged inlet & 63mm dia female out let with cap chain spring release type lug and accessories as per IS ; 5290-1983 complete including dismantling of old one complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and replacement of gun metal sprinkler 20mm dia complete all as diected and specified.

Supply and fixing for cast iron double flanged type sluice valve 80 mm dia bore class PN 1.6 , ISI marked complete with nuts , bolts and washers and rubber sheet packing incl dismantling of old one complete all as specified and directd.

Material and labour for painting to MS ERW pipe lines/ GI pipe line, fire stands,fire buckets,hydrants, hose box, hose reel etc with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of red colour after preparation of old surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing for galvanised steel tubing heavy grade to walls and laying on floor etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge for the following Make- TATA/JINDAL /Prakash (a) 100 mm dia

All as per serial item No 19.00 above but 25 mm dia

Supply and fix of gun metal gate valves (ISI marked) 50 mm dia heavy duty suitable for fire fighting system with iron wheel head screwed both end for iron pipe including taking down old existing gate valve complete all as specified.

All as per serial item No 20.00 here in before but of size 25 mm

Taking down old defective non return valve and supply and fix non return valve 100 mm dia heavy duty suitable for fire fighting system with by pass arrangement working pressure 10 kg per sq cm confirming to IS- 5312 including jointing by means of rubber gasket 3 mm thick ,MS nut bolt,washers etc including testing.

Taking down old unserviceable sluice valve, supply and fix sluice valve 100 mm dia heavy duty suitable for fire fighting system with flanged ends as per IS-784 PN-1.6 including brass spindle and iron wheel all as per specified class II , ISI marked with nut bolts and jointing material i.e. rubber gasket and testing complete.

Supply and fix for pressure gauges 100 mm dia pressure 0-20 Kg/sqcm type suitable for existing suction and discharge water supply pipe line including suitable fixing arrangment all as directed.

Taking down the defective Electric induction motor Cap 5HP of any make 415 volt 3 phase by dismantling the electrical connections, removing the motor from bed by decoupling with pump transporting to workshop, dismantling it completely, removing the burnt out winding, rewinding the same with super enameled copper wire of same gauge and with necessary insulating material, varnishing, backing and re assembling the motor completly and transporting back to site and alignment with the pump with all connections as directed by Engr-in-charge for following capacity. Note : (i) Burnt out removed winding wire shall be property of contractor through schedule of credit.

Taking down fire extinguisher cylinder from the fire stand/wall and refilling of Gas cylinder with multi purpose dry powder suitable for class ABC, cylinder capacity 6 Kg including hydraulic pressure testing of cylinder.

Taking down fire extinguisher cylinder from the fire stand/wall and refilling of Gas cylinder with multi purpose dry powder suitable for class ABC, cylinder capacity 9 Kg including hydraulic pressure testing of cylinder.

Supply and fixing for portable fire extinguisher cylinder filled with mono ammonium phosphate dry powder MAP90 suitable for all types of Fire class A,B, C and bulk range discharge two metre minimum and Capacity 06 Kg ISI marked complete all as specified and directed.

NOTE:- (i) Cost of new components/parts shall be paid for separately under relevant item of Schedule 'A' Sec ll item 48 to 58. (ii) Contractor's rep will visit minimum once in a month to every panel and take serviceability certificate duly signed by the users. Additional visit as and when required will not be paid as extra. Material and Labour for sub main wiring with two runs of single core, PVC insulated, unsheathed ,multi standard copper conductor cable of size 1.5 Sqmm, 1100 volts grade and one run of 1.5 Sqmm PVC insulated earth continuity copper conductor cable drawn through and inculding suitable size of PVC concealed conduit with all necesary accessories such as bends, tees, junctions boxes, elbows etc complete with all in coming and out going cable connections complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Two runs of 1.5 Sqmm cable, one run of 1.5 Sqmm continuity earth wire and one run of PVC conduit with all necessary accessories will be measured as unit length).
