Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundations, manholes, etc. or for laying cables/pipes, erecting poles, etc. not exceeding 10sqm on plan and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed

Returning, filling in, including, spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm deep as in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point in any type of soil including spreading in low lying area and leveling complete all as specified and as directed

Supplying and laying unreinforced precast concrete cable covers, class LV, type I, flat, size 250x150x40mm (length parallel to axis of cover), ISI marked, duly embossed with wordings 'LT CABLE' complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for fine dry river sand cushioning by laying 8cm thick layer below the cable for making soft bed and 15cm above the cable and then punning down to its consolidated thickness of 18cm after the cable is laid all as specified in SSR Part-I complete all as specified and as directed Note: Only punned thickness of sand shall be considered for measurement purposes

Supplying, fixing / laying steel water tubing, light grade, galvanised with screwed and socketed joints, in any length, including supply and fixing all fittings, ISI marked conforming to IS -1239 and fixed to walls or laid in floors / trenches required for protection of electric clables including taking out and disposing off old damaged tubing by cutting into road, culvert, hard standing, etc. and making good the disturbed areas in PCC 1:2:4 type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregates) complete all as specified and as directed of the following sizes: Note: PCC will be measured and paid under respective item herein

M&L for shutting down service supply and taking down feeder pillars / panels and scrapping out old paint from both internal & external body surfaces by scrubbing with emery paper, preparation of surfaces including dubbing of holes, rusts, etc. and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (of approved tint) over two coats of anti-corrosive primer applied entirely with suitable spray gun and writing panel number of size 75x75mm in synthetic enamel paint and refixing / reconnecting up in old / new location / position complete all as specified and as directed

S&F LT panel door mild steel hinges, of existing type and size, including all necessary cutting, welding, brazing, etc. as required complete all as specified and as directed

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning, LT feeder pillar box/panel, CPRI approved, factory fabricated, outdoor type of size as per relevant IS, platform mounted, dust, weather and vermin proof, IP54 protection class, fabricated out of 3.15mm thick CRCA MS sheet and 50x50x5mm thick angle iron frame work, powder coated finish over one coat of red oxide primer outside and two coats of red oxide primer on inside, front opening type, with aprons for cable entry, with double door shutter and suitable locking arrangement, internal wiring with 2.5sqmm PVC insulated, stranded copper conductor cable, IS-694 marked and internal connection from MCCBs, MCBs and TPN aluminium bus bar and extension links of rating not less than 1.5 times the rated capacity of the respective MCCBs, TPN bus bar and extension links duly insulated with colour code heat shrinkable sleeves and shall be mounted on epoxy regin insulator to contactor not less than 10sqmm single core copper cable stranded copper conductor cable, IS-694 marked including and housing the following switchgears and components including dismantling and disposing off old unserviceable panel complete all as specified, as directed and as detailed hereinunder:

Notes for item No. 50: (a) The Contractor shall submit drawings from the approved OEM for approval of the GE through the Engineer-in-charge (b) The feeder pillar/panel shall include 2Nos. danger notice plates made of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, of size 250x200mm with letter, figures and conventional skull bones in signal red colour duly fixed with nuts, bolts and washers, etc. with voltage and danger indicated both in Hindi and English (c) The feeder shall include electrolyitc aluminium bus bars as stipulated PVC coloured sleeves mounted on hygroscopic insulators duly colour coded and earth bar in 40x5mm GI strip and complete wiring including flush mounting rated CTs of size 96x96mm (d) Excavation, earthwork in any type of soil, construction of PCC foundation for panel shall be deemed included in quoted rate. Foundation specifics shall be as per OEM of panel. The Contractor shall submit foundation desgn drawings to attain approal of he GE (e) Foundation bed shall be in PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregates with a depth of 15cm below ground level and 1.5m above ground level with stare and slot openings for I/C and O/G cables

M&L for earthing using GI earthing strip with galvanised steel earth plate electode 600x600x6mm thick buried directly in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level connection to and including GI strip of size 32x6mm extended to 7.5m as earth lead by means of GI bolts, nuts, etc. with provision of charcoal and salt all as per electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I including water arrangement with GI pipe 20mm dia (medium grade), earth lead protection pipe 50mm medium grade with bends, elbow, etc. from earth plate to test point, excavation and earthwork in any type of soil, returning, filling, ramming and removing of soil to distance not exceeding 50m, make good to match with existing surface making PCC pit (earth chamber) having internal size 300x300x300mm and outer size 600x 600x600mm with RCC reinforced cover 50mm thick and testing on completion including making test points on wall as per SSR specifications, taking down and disposing off old earthing complete all as specified and as directed

Notes for serial item No. 58: (i) The cost of GI earth continuity wire / strip with GI pipe 20mm medium grade upto 7.5m is deemed to be included (ii) The earth chamber to be constructed 0.5m from edge of earth pit with necessary watering arrangement. The cost for the same is deemed to be included in above item (iii) Earthing shall produce desired earth resistance values as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
