PROVISION OF DIESEL GENERATOR SET AT STORAGE ACCOMODATION FOR FURNITURE UNDER GE ND VISAKHAPATNAM

SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I: E/M WORKS

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of silent Diesel Engine deiven Generating set of capacity 58.5 KVA/46.8 KW, 415Volts, three phase, 4 wire, Engine as per IS-10001/10002 and alternator as per IS-13364, confirming to latest CPCV-IV+, sound proofcanopy as per relevant IS and foundation etc. including following:- Make: Kirloskar Green/ Greaves Cotton /Cummins

A. Engine: Direct Engine, turbo charged water cooled Engine, 4 Cylinder, in-line, 4 stroke developing suitable BHP but not less than 75.5 BHP (Gross Engine power) @1500 RPM complete with all provision of 10% overload of one hour, confirming to BS-5514 and having following specifications:- (i) In-line Fuel pump with electronic governer for (ii) Stainless steel Exhaust flexible coupling and exhaust pipe duly insulated with glass fire wool and plain GI sheet cladding and extended outside the building. (iii) Silencer (iv) Radiator (v) Coolant Inhibitor (vi) Plate type Lube oil cooler (vii) Spin-On-Filters-Coolant, Fuel, Fuel and Lube Oil (viii) Dry type, heavy duty, replaceable paper element air cleaner with restriction indicator. (ix) Flywheel Housing and flywheel to suit single bearing Alternator. (x) Electrical starter Motor (xi) Battery charging alternator (xii) 1x 12 Volts batteries, 180AH or higher capacity as recommended by OEM. (xiii) First fill of Lub oil. B. Alternator: (i) Self excited and self regulated. (ii) Voltage regulation + 1% (iii) Class H Insulation (iv) 4 pole rotating field (v) Digital automatic voltage Regulator (vi) Standard enclosure IP-23 (vii) Telephone interference factor:50 (viii)Total Harmonic factor : better than 2% (ix) Supplying power to variable electrical load for unlimited hours. Prime power (PPR) is in accordance with ISO 8582. 10% load capacity for one hour every 12 hours of operation and will be suitable for tropical condition. (x) Unbalanced load capability is 25% of rated power.

(xii) 1x 12 Volts batteries, 180AH or higher capacity as recommended by OEM. (xiii) First fill of Lub oil. B. Alternator: (i) Self excited and self regulated. (ii) Voltage regulation + 1% (iii) Class H Insulation (iv) 4 pole rotating field (v) Digital automatic voltage Regulator (vi) Standard enclosure IP-23 (vii) Telephone interference factor:50 (viii)Total Harmonic factor : better than 2% (ix) Supplying power to variable electrical load for unlimited hours. Supply and fix ON LOAD change over switch 415V, 4 pole, AC, 125 amp in sheet metal enclosures including mounting on wall/stand and connection of cable complete all as specified and directed. Make : L&T Model No. SKU:CO11250OSOO or equivalent in Havells/ABB

Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 50 sq mm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed.

Earthing complete with Galvanised Steel Earth Plate Electrode 600 X 600 X 6 mm thick burried directly in ground [earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level] with top edge of Plate not less than 1.50 m below normal ground level connected to 32 X 6mm GI Strip [Earth Lead] and GI pipe 50 mm, Medium Grade for earthing lead protection to the extent of maximum 7.5m, Earth Plate Electrode surrounded by 150mm thick packed layers of Charcoal and Common Salt filled in alternate layers, connected to the Plate by means of GI Bolts & Nuts complete all as per Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part – I, connected to panel / DB including testing on completion including main earthing, Charcoal, Common Salt, PCC [1:2:4, Type B1] Pit with RCC 1:2:4, Type B1 Cover, 50 mm thick with 6 Nos, 8 mm dia TMT bars in both ways, MS frame made with 40 X 40 X 6 mm Angle Iron, MS Funnel with 20 mm bore, medium grade GI Watering pipe, wire mesh, earth work excavation, return filling, removal of surplus soil etc. complete all as specified.
