M&L for preparation of horizontal concrete or bituminous (old painted taxi link/ dispersal area) surface not exceeding 10cm width or girth and painting lines, dashes, arrow, letters and other markings with one coat of retro reflective paint using Flexo-O-Lite type III high index glass beads using mechanical pavement marking machine line lazer IV 3900 and 5900 of M/s Graco or equivalent as approved by GE complete all as specified and as directed Make:- APCOTRAK manufactured by M/s Asian Paints or its techno commercially equivalent make as specified as approved by GE. Coverage area of paint shall be 6 sqm /Litre by adding 10-15% of potable water. Note:- The paint shall be of colour white/orange/ yellow/black or any other colour as approved. Precaution has to be taken to avoid spilling of paint over existing painted surfaces even after if emulsion spills over painted surfaces it has to be removed immediately to enable the proper subsequent coating of paint

Material and Labour for painting arrows, letters etc on roads, pavements ,runway & like exceeding 10cm width , with one coat of road marking paint of colour white, Golden yellow, deep orange, PO red and black as per the requirement in the Air field using mechanical pavement marking machine line lazer IV 3900 and 5900 of M/s Graco or equivalent as approved by GE complete all as specified and as directed including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed. Make:- APCOTRAK of Asian paints or its techno commercially equivalent.Coverage area of paint shall be 10 sqm /Lit by adding 10-15% of potable water(runway surfaces) Note :- The painted surface shall not show any sign of brush mark or surface underneath. The painting shall stand out boldly. Painting shall be in sufficient number of strokes till the desired result is achieved and shall not shown visible sign of brush marks etc. Precaution has to be taken to avoid spilling of paint over existing painted surfaces even after if emulsion spills over painted surfaces it has to be removed immediately to enable the proper subsequent coating of paint

M&L for preparation of old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes/ coir brushes and removing caked mud, foreign particles, rbber deposits, silt, etc., sweeping clean with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces using suitable air blowers to remove all such deposits and applying two coats of cold polymeric bitumen emulsion ( PME ) (mopping of total cold liquid PME minimum 1.25 to 2.5 litres per Sqm for two coats ) , each coat diluted in the ratio 1:1 ( PME : Water ) and shall ensure uniform finish of runway complete all as per manufacturer’s instructions and all as specified and as directed by Engr- in charge.

Note:- The tenderer shall take into consideration for the following points while quoting his rate for the items : - (a) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess qty of cold bitumen emulsion (PME ) than the mentioned above is used depending upon condition of the surface to be treated . (b) Special care shall be taken to fill winder gaps / cracks with 0.6mm to 2.36mm size coarse sand mixed with PME as per manufacturer's instructions. (c) The works will be carried out on Saturdays/Sundays/Holidays and other non-flying days and or as intimated by the user authorities (d) The Contractor has to liaise with the user authorities two days prior of his planned works and schedule accordingly and or glavanise his resources as per requirement of the Station (e) Works shall be carried out through authorised and qualified applicators of the manufacturer with all requisite T&P, machineries, etc. as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge (f ) A performance guarantee certificate for one year shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of the works as specified . (g) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of all the above aspects. No claim whatsoever shall be entertained at a later date/s

M&L for 5mm thick PVC sheet fixed to wooden frame work (1st class hard wood sectional area exc 13 Sqcm) as in DTGM and taxi link markers boards out of premises all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-charge

M&L for PVC pipe 75 mm dia as in supports for DTGM boards including necessary clamps etc all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-charge

M&L for writing letters of height 110 cm with coloured luminous tape (colour as directed) all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-charge.

M&L for writing letters of height 85 cm with coloured luminous tape (colour as directed) all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-charge.

M&L for cut open the cracks on runway /taxiway in 'V' shape to minimum 20 to 30mm width & up to full depth of the crack not exc 100mm thick or to a depth as directed by Engr in charge, clean thoroughly using compressed air or other approved means prime the entire surface with organo saline chemical mixed with water for making the entire surface hydrophobic and ensure perfect bonding and filling it with bituminous base compound SHALITEK or equivalent make as approved, and sprinkling on top to remove the glossy finish , all as per the manufacturers instruction including removing all debris and other wastes etc and leaving the premises neat and clean , complete all specified and as directed by Engineer -in- charge.

M&L for Cutting, raking out existing sealing compound from joints (Expansion Joints 25X30mm) of rigid pavements by mechanical/ hand cutter removing, the racked out sealing compound from joints, removing the debris and other foreign materials to a distance exc 50m and n exc 150m, depositing where directed and cleaning the sides and bottom of joints by compressor air (diesel driven compressor of suitable capacity) preparing joints to receive polyurethane joints filling, riming the joints with primer, filling and sealing the joints with suitable polyethylene rod and sealing compound of approved manufactures of Lquiseal PU PG 2K sealant with and incl provn of primer, rod and sealing compound and other materials and tools/ plants as reqd, complete all as per manufactures instructions and as specified and as directed by the engr in charge for the following joints. Note:- (i)The tenderers are advised to visit the site with reference to the site plan area and fully be aware of the area to be maintained. (ii) Application of primer and filling of joints should be done in a mechanised manners (iii) Suitable tape should be provide on both edges of joints to prevent to spreading of joint sealant material and same shall be removed after completion of joints Filling.

All as per item no, 9 above, but for Construction joint 10 to 12mm wide x 15mm deep

Material & Labour for complete removal of existing treatment from wall and applying Two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 Gm./litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L preparation of old painted steel surfaces exc 10 cm width or girth & applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (white & red in chequered pattern ) complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L preparation of old painted steel surfaces exc 10 cm width or girth & applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint white or golden yellow or red at a height above 10m & upto 20m (V/UHF antenna) all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of black border of taxi track markings exc 10cm width and applying one coat of road marking paint black in colour complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge. Note:- The painted surface shall not show any sign of brush mark or surface underneath. The painting shall stand out boldly. Painting shall be in sufficient number of strokes till the desired result is achieved and shall not shown visible sign of brush marks etc.

Notes for serial item Nos. 1 to 14:- (i) The works will be carried out on days ( Saturday, Sunday, Holidays, non operational days) as per directions of the Engineer-in-charge over availability from the INS Garuda athorities (ii) The Contractor shall arrange and activate his reources accordingly (iii) All safety and precautionery measures as applicable for works within technical area or near runway shall be duly adhered. (iv) Wearing of flourecent waist jacket is mandatory for all the workers while working in the Air field. (v) Precaution has to be taken to avoid spilling of paint over existing painted surfaces. If emulsion spills over painted surfaces it has to be removed immediately to enable the proper subsequent coating of paint (vi) The quoted rates shall be deemed to be inclusive of all these aspects. No claim whatsoever shall be entertained at any later date

Demolition of un-reinforced cement concrete in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Hard core of Gauge exc. 63mm but n. exc 150mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15cm thick, watered and rolled / rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 100 mm thick Cement concrete 1:4:8, type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 100mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in flooring etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for moorum filling in low level area in layers n exc 25 cm thick, spreading and levelling, consolidation and well ramming including watering complete all as specified and directed.
