(1) Dynamic Cone penetration test IS-4968 (part-I) (a) Exavaction of open trial pit upto foundation level or 2 mtrs dept from NGL & conduction dynamic cone penetration test during the excavation & at the base of pit using 50 mm 60 standard cone . Nc- vales, representing the numbers of blows of a 63.5 Kg standard hammer falling through a heingh of 75 cm required to drive the standard cone every 10 cm into sub soil continously upto 4.5m/ refusal depth in gravel prone area measurment of water able if encountered. (b) Laboratory test of disturbed/undistrurbed soil sample (i) Atterbers limit and natural water content (ii) Bulk density (iii) underained triaxial test/unconfined compression test Box shear test. (iv) Classification, grain size distribution (v) consolidation test (vi) soil profile and properties (vii) Chemical test and soil e.g chloride,suphate, Ph values, electrical conducatnce etc. (c) Bearingcapacity for openfoundation & recommendation. Certificate:- 1. Certified that the above work required has been considered in M & O estimate and are of urgent nature and funds are available to meet the expenditure under code head 86/902/36. 2. Certified that the work required as per natures of Job carried out.
