Providing and laying APP ( Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer 3 mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with non- woven polyester matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 litre/ sqm by the same membrane manufacture of density at 250C, 0.87-0.89 kg/ litre and viscocity 70-160 cps. OVER the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using Butane Torch and sealing all joints etc., and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under: Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 230C as 650/450N/5CM. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 300/250N. Softening point of membrane not less than 1500C. Cold flexibility shall be up to - 20C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D - 5147. Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges, hire charges, watering, curing, vibrating, compacting, all leads and lifts, all other incidental charges etc. complete as per the direction of departmental officers at site.

Grouting with non shrink micro concrete for fixing guide channel to receive regulator shutter, including machine mixing, transportation, pouring, curing etc.including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges, hire charges, all leads and lifts, all other incidental charges etc. complete as per the direction of departmental officers at site.

Repairs to plaster of thickness 5 mm to 15 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq meters and more, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground using special repair mortar including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges, hire charges, all leads and lifts, all other incidental charges etc. complete as per the direction of departmental officers at site.

PART II - MECHANICAL WORKS Appendix A - Putting up of baby bund and bailing out the seepage water.

Putting up of baby bund as per approved shape 0.75 m width using empty gunny/polythene bags filled with earth placed in 2 rows at 0.3m apart and filled in between with puddle clay to form bund for an average height 1.00m including labour dismantling the bund after completion of the work etc. including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges, hire charges, all leads and lifts, all other incidental charges etc. complete as per the direction of departmental officers at site.

Dismantling the hoisting bridge, hoist unit and hand rails as a whole ( where there is road access to the point) from the pier and keeping it safely in a site at a distance of not more than 100 meter for facilitating removal of shutters including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges, machinery, hire charges, all leads and lifts, all other incidental charges and handling charges etc. complete as per the direction of departmental officers at site.

Dismantling of the existing corroded shutters (where there is road access to the point ) from the grooves and stacking including cost of all machinery, labour all incidental and conveyance charges etc complete as per direction of departmental officer at site (Weight of the unserviceable shutters and embedded parts may be calculated as 60% and unserviceable hoisting units as 80 % ) (60% of the actual weight of the existing shutter (weight of existing shutter = the weight of new fabrication less weight of materials provided for an additonal vertical seal)).

Appendix I - Erection of Hoist bridge with ovehauled Hoist unit and supply of Diesel Generator set

Overhauling the entire hoist system by replacing damaged parts such as bearings & oil seals for worm reducer, providing 1.25" pitch single strand roller chain & operating handle for Hand operating mechanism, cleaning the entire parts properly, greasing and oil filling in to the worm reducer as per the directions of deptl officer at site including cost of all material, labour, machinery, incidental and handling charges, cost and conveyance of all materials etc complete.

Conveying and fixing main hoist chain to the new gates and Hoisting unit safely and conducting Trial run including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges, hire charges, all leads and lifts, all other incidental charges etc. complete as per the direction of departmental officers at site.

Appendix J - Earthing work to electrical accessories

Earthing with G.I. earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 6 mm thick including accessories, andproviding masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges, hire charges, all leads and lifts, all other incidental charges etc. complete as per the direction of departmental officers at site.

Supply and drawing bare earthing conductors of the following sizes along with wiring/ cables and giving connection as required 4.00 mm copper coductor (8 SWG) including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges, hire charges, all leads and lifts, all other incidental charges etc. complete as per the direction of departmental officers at site.

Supply and clamping the following size of strips on surface of wall/ parapet/ existing cable tray using clamps fabricated from 20 X 3 mm GI flat duly painted or heavy duty GI spacer saddles spacing of clamps not exceeding 1 m, making good the damages, colour washing etc. as required ( for horizontal run) 25 x 6mm copper strip including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges, hire charges, all leads and lifts, all other incidental charges etc. complete as per the direction of departmental officers at site.

Supply and laying of the following sizes of B class GI pipe laid 0.6 m below ground level including excavating trench of suitable size and refilling etc, as required.32 mm dia G.I pipe ( medium class) including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges, hire charges, all leads and lifts, all other incidental charges etc. complete as per the direction of departmental officers at site.

Supplying and providing the following sizes of bolt and nut with washers on the existing MS box, earth, bus, earthing system etc.as required including drilling necessary holes as required-25x6mm brass bolt and nut including cost and conveyance of all materials, labour charges, hire charges, all leads and lifts, all other incidental charges etc. complete as per the direction of departmental officers at site.
