Dismantling the earth chamber, Excavation and removing the u/s earthing materials along with u/s earth electrodes from the existing u/s earth pits pertains to installations/ buildings and M &L for maintenance free earthing using corrosion resistant earth electrode copper cladded, copper coating thickness of 250 microns, 17.20 mm dia, high tensile low carbon COPPER BONDED RODS WITH 99.9% with 25KA current discharge test from CPRI of length 3.0m as per UL 467, with suitable compressive coupler planted at depth not less than 4.6m of bore 100mm belwo gorund level and duly covered with low resistant superior conductive powdered non corrosive, highly hydrous earth enhancing material all as directed including connecting upto common bus bar grid of size 25 x 3 mm to achieve optimum low earth resistance on inspection/ testing complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (a) The make shall be of manufactures as listed in particuler specification here-in-after.(b) The earthing shall comply to IS-3043 and the earth resistance shall be less than 1 ohm (c) The electrode shall carry UL marking and amanufacturer's name (d) The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following:- (i) Survey of earth resistance if required for testing of the earth shall be carried out along with departmental representative. (ii) The Grid point/ testing point shall be of 25 x 6mm copper bus bar of length 150mm mounted on porcelain insulators and enclosed in suitable enclosure of mild steel 2mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer. (iii) The carbon based earth enhancement compound shall have very minimum resistance value (less than 0.12 Ohm) to keep the earth resistance at the lower level. The compound shall be filled with highly conductive and eco friendly ground enhancing compound as per IEC 62561-7 shall not be less that 30KG per pit. (iv) Testing of earth shall be carried out alongwith the departmental representive and report shall be submitted.(v) The exothermic connection of 22x6x150mm bus bar to 35 Sqm single core copper cabole PVC insulated for interconnection of earthing to equipment. Quoted tate shall deemed to include the cost of copper cable 35 Sqm upto 7.5 Mtr with 15mm light grade GI protection pipe. (vi) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrouding area shall carried out in any type of soil. The bore hole shall be not less than 80mm dia and 4.60m deep from gropund level. (vii) Earth pit chamber shall be of HDPE and earth inspection cover made of high grade polypropylene of top dia 308mm, bottom dia not less than 308mm and height not less than 214mm with PVC cap. (viii) Earth termination clamps shall be provided to facilitate connection to equipments.

Dismantling the earth chamber, Excavation and removing the u/s earthing materials along with u/s earth electrodes from the existing u/s earth pits pertains to installations/ buildings and M/L for providing earthing with GI earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to depth of not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected to GI earth wire of 4mm by means of bolts, nuts, washers of GI and provision of earth lead, GI protection pipe with 15mm light grade galvanized including necessary earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type CI (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) earth chamber and 1:2:4 type B1 RCC cover fitted with 50mm thick with 6mm dia MS bars as shown in SSR Pt - 1 electrical plate No 3 complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Quoted rate deemed to include the cost or excavation and earth work PCC chamber, funnel cover etc

Note: Quoted rate deemed to include the cost or excavation and earth work PCC chamber, funnel cover etc

Dismantling the earth chamber, Excavation and removing the u/s earthing materials along with u/s earth electrodes from the existing u/s earth pits pertains to installations/ buildings and M/L for providing earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3 mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level, Alternate layers of charcoal & common salt Crystal, in and including back filling compund in layers and filling up with black cotton soil upto the top edge/ ground level and connected to copper earth strip 20 x 3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts & washers of copper and connecting to earth dolly, equipment all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part I of 2009 & testing complete including 40mm dia light grade GI pipe upto 7.5 mtr long, excavation in any type of strata, PCC (1:3:6) type C1, earthing chamber, pre cast slab 50 mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) weight not less than 4 Kg / Sqm with frame, including 20 mm bore water pipe medium grade GI Tubing including GI Funnel, wire mesh etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Copper earth continuity conductor 20x3 and GI light grade protection pipe 40mm dia beyond 7.5 mtr shall be measured and paid under the respective items

Dismantling the earth chamber, Excavation and removing the u/s earthing materials along with u/s earth electrodes from the existing u/s earth pits pertains to installations/ buildings and M&L Chemical Earthing Complete with copper earth plate electrode 90cm x 60cm x 5mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 5.0 M deep below normal ground level and complete siize of pit 1.6 M X1.6 M X 5.0 M earth plate connected to copper strip of size 50 x 6 mm by brazing only ,earth strip protected with light grade GI Pipe 80 mm dia mm bore from copper earth plate electrode and upto and including the earth test point made of gunmetal Phosporous bronze of size 75x75x25 mm including 25 mm bore water pipe medium grade GI Tubing including GI Funnel, wire mesh. Alternate five layers of charcoal (250 KG ) & salt crystal (200 KG) and top two inch layers with BFC (100 KG) including excavation in any strata, refilling with black cotton soil above the Back filling compound and removal of the excavated soil and depositing at the place where directed, PCC Pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, RCC cover 40 mm thick in RCC ( 1:2:4 ) type B 1 using 20 mm grade aggregate reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 7.5 mm c/c both ways including MS angle iron frame of 40 X40X 3 mm etc, watering the earth pit to acheive earth resistance not more than 01 OHM incl testing complete all as specified and as directed. Note For item No 1 to 4: (i) Earth conductor from earth plate to equipment upto 7.5M length deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor and beyond 7.5 M will be measured and paid under the respective item of the schedule. (ii) Cost of excavation, returning and filling, earth work required based on the nature of eath pit for satisfactory completion of job deemed to be inclusive in the unit rate.

M & L Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required 4mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnection and removing the u/s Test block from the wall of the building and M&L Test point terminal box made out of gunmetal or phosphorous bronze of size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexaognal screws along with fixing arrangements complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnection and removing theU/S / broken / bent Aluminium strip from the roof/ down conductors of the buildings and M&L for Aluminium strip of size 25x3.15mm complete including cut to length and size to match the existing system and fixing the same to the wall / roof on suitable porcelin insulators along with fixing materials complete all as specified and as directed. Note :1. Porcelin insulators will be measured and paid separately under the respective item of the schedule 2. Materials required for replaceing the u/s earth strips from any height of the technical buildings (Apprx upto 10m height) deemed to be included in the quoted rate

Disconnection and removing the u/s RCC earth pit cover of size 400x400x40mm from the existing earth pit and providing new RCC type C-1(1:3:6) with 20mm graded agreegate with necessary form work for making earth pit cover all as specified in SSR Part-I in different locations complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling and removing the u/s earth pit chamber and M&L for PCC chamber of size 40cm x 40cm x 30 cm suitable for earth pit chamber made out of PCC (1:3:6) using 20mm graded stone aggregate complete along with necessary foundation all as specified in SSR Part 1 and to match with the existing earthing pit as shown at site complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnection and removing the Brass nut and bolt connected to the copper earth conductors and S&F copper nut bolts and washers of size 5/6" to the copper earth conductors including making necessary increase the size of the holes as required to fix the bolts complete all as specified and as directed.

Connecting the broken copper strip of earth electrodes with brass brazing including necessary materials required to complete the job complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Materials such as Gas and Brass rods etc required for brazing deemed to be inclusive in the unit rate.

Porcelain vitreous insulator to accommodate earth continuity conductor of size 25 to 32mm along with fixing materials complete all as specified and as directed.

Copper sulphate for strengthning of existing earthing complete all as specified and directed.

Commercial/ sea salt, laid in layers for strengthening of existing earthings complete all as specified and as directed.

GI pipe light grade 50 mm dia with all fittings laid in trenches including taking down corroded pipe complete all as specified and as directed

GI pipe light grade 40 mm dia fixed on walls and ceilings or laid on floors with all fittings for GI strip protection including taking down corroded pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

GI pipe light grade 80 mm dia with all fittings laid in trenches including taking down corroded pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

GI pipe light grade 15 mm dia fixed on walls and ceilings or laid on floors with all fittings for GI Wire protection including taking down corroded pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnection and removing old u/s cable from the earthing equipment and S&L PVC single core copper conductor (flexible) copper cable, PVC insulated (unsheathed) 1100 volts conforming to IS:694 of 25 Sqmm complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnection and removing old u/s pipes and Supply, jointing, testing and laying in trenches /floor/wall etc galvanised iron Medium grade pipes ISI marked with all fittings of size 15 mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnection and removing old u/s Bib taps and S&F bib taps, cast copper alloy with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed for iron pipe of size 15 mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.
