PROVN OF CHAIN LINK FENCING FOR SMQ AREA (PH-I) AT AF STN TEZPUR

Site clerance to include clearing away all grass, vegetation, saplings shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots and trees n exc 30 cm girth (measured on 1 metre above ground level) and removing rubbish upto a distence of 50 meters outside the periphery of the area under clearance, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) in soft/loose soil, each n exc 0.5 Cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire etc; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh/welded steel wire fabric etc) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting etc, and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only chain link fencing of size and type as approved by the Engineer in Charge, complete all as specified and as directed.

Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc.including provission of binding wire, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix 10mm dia mild steel round bars as stiffener to chain link fencing including necessary cutting bending etc. conforming to Grade-l, IS 432 (Part-I), complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F of mild steel screw bolt (machine made with hexagonal or square head at one end and screwed the other or screwed both ends each screw and to be fitted with washer and one hexagonal or square nut length of but exc 5cm not exc 10cm and dia of shank 11 to 15mm, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix for mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc., with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work including for portions framed and hung as gates, including pintle hinges, hand made sliding bolts etc conforming to Fe 290, Grade E-165, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces exc 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, complete all as specified and directed.
