CERTAIN REPAIR TO SECURITY FENCING , PATH, HARD STANDING, RETAINING WALLS, DRAINS, REPAIR/CLEANING OF SEWAGE LINE, MANHOLES, SEPTIC TANK, SOAKAGE WELL, FILTER BEDS, STREET LIGHTS AND MISC WORKS AT MIL STN DHARCHULA UNDER GE PITHORAGARH

DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

M& L for clearing blockage of WC/Gully/floor traps by Roding/pressure to clear blockage upto first man hole complete all as specified and directed. Note- (a) Contractor/Rep of the contractor has to collect the complaints on daily basis from in charge of complaint cell. (b) The blockage of WC/Floor Trap/Gully Trap are to be cleared on the same day of the receipt of complaint.

M&L cleaning of existing septic tank and sewage well by closing the existing sewage system at last man hole. Removing man hole cover and dewatering the liquid waste by mechanical pumping. Removing the solid sludge by manually or by mechanical system up to the bottom of septic tanks and sewage well at any size incl depositing the solid sludge in the pit providing by digging in near by septic tank of appropriate size. Whole area to be covered with bleaching powder and covered by natural earth obtained from excavation after filling the solid sludge and making good completely hygienic and directed at site. Note: During the cleaning of soakage wells/septic tanks, alternate arrangement be made by contractor by temporary pumping arrangement for clearing continuous incoming sewage complete all as specified and directed Note :- (i) The cost of excavation of pit, bleaching powder and RFR to cover the sludge shall deemed to be inclusive in rate quoted by the contractor. (ii) All the tools and plants including mechanical pump and other allied arrangements for making sewage line functional will be made available by the contractor with out any extra cost to the Govt. (iii) Mode of Measurement- Qty of solid sludge shall only be measured for payment which shall be considered as 30% of volume of total liquid waste.

M&L for Cleaning of sewage line blocked/filled with sludge (solid/semi solid) silt and any other waste by Roding or any other means (without damage to sewage line ) manhole to manhole and well pushing and cleaning including removing the waste to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and buried into pit excavated upto 15 cm depth below the GL and cover with excavated soils after treating the sludge by spreading a fine layer of bleaching powder as directed to reduce the foul gases and refixing man hole cover slab in position for sewage line of dia upto 200mm and at any depth complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The cost of excavation of pit, bleaching powder and RFR to cover the sludge shall deemed to be inclusive in rate quoted by the contractor. (ii) All the tools and plants including mechanical pump and other allied arrangements for making sewage line functional will be made available by the contractor with out any extra cost to the Govt.

S&F On site conventional LLDPE septic tank of total capacity of 3000 ltr designed to carry sewage and sullage water, incl excavation in any type of soil & 100mm PCC 1:4:8 below foundation, Vent shaft, connection etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Construction of Soakage well incl excavation, in any type of soil, foundation in PCC 1:3:6, walls of honey combed masonry with top ring of M25 concrete including intercepting chamber and screen chamber made of Brick masonry in CM, RCC cover slab in M25/ SFRC cover, interconnecting pipes of RCC/DWC complete filled with brick bats of size 1.20m dia and 3.0m effective depth all as per CEBZ TD/309 SHT-1/4 to 4/4 complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of 200 mm dia cast iron or reinforced concrete drain pipes, jointed in cement mortar and taking out of trenches, if required

S&F reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2, 200mm laid and jointed complete with collars, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for concrete bed 1:4:8 type D-2 (Using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in drain pipes including packing under, and haunching against the side of pipes after the are laid and tested in 200 mm bore pipe, complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, of any dia making good to pipe and rendering , cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or ¾ section) in cement concrete (1:2:4 ) type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate finished smooth and reforming benching as required for 200 mm dia pipe complete.
