Taking down existing water proofing treatment of any description and removing rubbish off the premises, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster and cement mortar bed including cement mortar/PCC bedding on RCC slope roof surfaces at a height upto 10m of any description including cleaning the surface with water etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick/PCC block/stone masonry etc including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up or down steel tubing and connections, 25 or 32mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up or down steel tubing and connections, 20 mm borecomplete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling single layer of Mangalore pattern tiles in roofing including ridge or hip tiles complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of plain cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting chases in brick/laterite/concrete/block masonry, pinning in making good to facings where required and pointing in CM 1:3 to insert shingles into walls where required complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting existing water tanks, setting aside for making roof repairs, cleaning etc, and hoisting if required, reconnecting and refixing in position of capacity exc 250 and n.exc 500 litre complete all as specified including taking down and re-fixing of float valve.

All as per Sl item No. 1.09 above but exc 500 and n exc 1000 litre complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) as in filling and levelling course compelet all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying one coat of bitumen primer and provisioning of 4mm thick Asphalt Shingle roofing using Shingles of M/s Saint Gobain Certain teed LAND MARK - AR/ TECHNONICOL fibre glass shingles roofing tiles or equivalent of approved colour and pattern made of fibre glass reinforced, high grade mineral- stabilised asphalt based mats which are over laid with high strength ceramic coated granules and underlaid with a mineral stabiliser cum fire retardent complaint with ASTM D 3462 for tear resistance (1700 gms minimum), ASTM E108 (class A fire resistance) fixed with nails or as per Manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified. NOTE :- (i) Unit rate quoted by the tenderer includes supply and fixing stater at the bottom of sloping roof, chajjas etc as required complete all as specified and as directed. (ii) The work shall be got executed through authorised Manufacturers Applicator only.

Preparing roof surfaces by throughly wire brushed, washed, dried up, cleaned of all the foreign matter and dust, with and including applying bituminous primer @ 250 gms/sqm, and then laying 4mm thick APP modified bituminous membrane with non woven polyester matt as reinforcement weighting not less than 4.00Kg per sqm, laid on primed surface with torch application method by providing overlap minimum 100mm on logitudinal and 150mm on transerve direction,and finishing the surface with solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint at the rate of 100 grams per sqm with preparation of treated surfaces, all angles and similar projections should be sealed well with extra care to ensure full bondage, all joints and changes in direction should be curved with cement mortar 1:3 mixed with SBR Latex @ 200ml/bag of cement.

S&F suitable ridges and valleys for asphalt shingle roofing complete all as per Manufacturer's instructions and as specified. Note:- Make shall be same as Asphalt shingle roofing

Refixing ridge or hip tiles to suit Mangalore pattern of roofing tiles bedded and jointed in CM 1:4. NOTE: Old serviceable ridge obtained from dismantling shall be reused.

Refixing roof tiles mangalore pattern interlocking tiles complete all sepecified and as directed.

Refixing roof tiles Mangalore pattern interlocking at side joints, laid over and including screed bed 20mm thick in CM (1:4) including jointing and pointing in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : Old serviceable roof tiles obtained from dismantlingshall be reused. Screed bed shall be measured and paid separately under resepctive item of BOQ.

Rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick or stone masonry or concrete surfaces in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.

Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on roof with liquid water proofing compound, finished surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: Liquid water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.

M&L for applying cement slurry with 3.0kg of cement per SQM over existing RCC roof complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for screed bed or bedding layer of cement and sand mortar (1:3), 20mm thick on RCC slope roof surface using water proofing compound and finishing top surface fair and even complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Water proofing compund shall be meausred and paid seprately under respective item of BOQ.

M&L for 20mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of CM 1:4 on RCC slope roof surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing old MP roof tile surfaces by cleaning tiles and applying one coat of antifungal tile guard paint complete all as per Manufacturer's instructions and as specified.

Preparing new surfaces of external wall/chajja/roof projection etc and applying two coats of sandex matt finish over one coat of primer complete all as specified and as per Manufacturers instructions.

S&F 32mm outer dia CPVC pipes, SDR 11 and plain CPVC SDR 11 fittings in walls/ceiling or laying in floors complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 25mm outer dia CPVC pipes, SDR 11 and plain CPVC SDR 11 fittings in walls/ceiling or laying in floors complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTES:- (i) All debris, unserviceable items shall be removed from site and thrown away at dumping area inside INA area where directed. No extra payment shall be admissible to this account. (ii) The work shall be executed on slope roof/ flat roof upto a height of 12m. (iii) Old MP tiles & ridges obtained from dismantling shall be re-fixed at any other buildings roof upto a distance 3KM. Unit rate quoted by the contractor shall includes transportation charges against relevant item for re-fixing.
