"INSTALLATION OF AUTOMATIC MARINE LOADING ARM The rate covers all works required to install Automatic unloading arm with Electro hydraulic unit and all other accessories such as tubing, cables, piping and supports. Installation of automatic MLA with EHU includes modification of tubing, cables etc. to suit the new position of EHU. Supply of tubes and bending of tubes required during the installation is also included in contractor scope.The work shall include transporatation from owners storage point. handling, rigging, lifting, placing & final alignment in to their Respective positions & orientation as per MLA assembly drawing and instructions of FACT engineer in-charge. Also protective cover for tubes to be supplied and installed by contractor. Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches in all kinds of soil, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil up to a lead of 50m, as directed by the Engineer in-charge within the premises of FACT-WI. The rates shall include bailing out water, and keeping the sides from collapsing using necessary timbering, planking, and shoring.

Filling available excavated or good earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, for lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m.

Providing hard core layer of required thickness using 40mm nominal size graded hard granite broken stones after compacting the underlying soil, spreading and levelling the stones and then spreading a layer of 6mm downgraded crushed aggregates on top of the broken metal layer and it shall be watered in order to force the crushed fine aggregates into the void spaces of the broken stone and repeat the process till all the voids are filled with crushed fine aggregates right up to the edges of hard core layer, including cost of all materials and labour charges etc, complete.

The Handrail must be able to withstand 70 Kg concentrated load at mid span without any failure or crack. Handrails shall be fixed to the existing concrete slab with stainless steel fasteners, which is included in the rate.

(Item paid on height of the ladder in meters, the height measured from bottom leg to top of handrail of the ladder)

Chemical anchoring of 12mm dia rebar with 125mm anchor depth, after placing in position and inserting into the holes drilled and grouted using RE-500 V4 adhesive manufactured by HILTI or equivalent make as directed by the engineer in-charge. Erection of Ammonia gas detector: The scope includes mounting of ammonia gas detector on stanchion, cable glanding, termination, installation of aluminium canopy, loop checking etcas per the attached TPS : 32707-03-PS-001-R1 and Schedule of Items of work 32707-14-PS-001 SIW R0.

Erection of Flow Transmitter: The scope includes cable glanding and termination of turbine flow transmitter (Flow tranmsitter installation is in the scope of piping contractor). Installation of aluminium canopy, loop checking etc is also included in the scope of contractor, as per the attached TPS : 32707-03-PS-001-R1 and Schedule of Items of work 32707-14-PS-001 SIW R0.

Erection of Temperature Element: The scope includes cable glanding and termination of temperature element-RTD (RTD installation with hermowell is in the scope of piping contractor). Installation of aluminium canopy, loop checking etc is also included in the scope of contractor, as per the attached TPS : 32707-03-PS-001-R1 and Schedule of Items of work 32707-14-PS-001 SIW R0.

Erection of Pressure Transmitter: The scope includes cable glanding and termination of pressure transmitter (Pressure tranmsitter installation is in the scope of piping contractor). Installation of aluminium canopy, loop checking etc is also included in the scope of contractor, as per the attached TPS : 32707-03-PS-001-R1 and Schedule of Items of work 32707-14-PS-001 SIW R0.

Erection of Control valve: The scope includes cable glanding and termination, instrument tubing etc of control valve and accessories (Control valve & accessories installation is in the scope of piping contractor). Installation of aluminium canopy, loop checking of all connected cables is also included in the scope of contractor. Tube and tube fittings shall be supplied by client, if existing dismantled items are not suitable as per the attached TPS : 32707-03-PS-001-R1 and Schedule of Items of work 32707-14-PS-001 SIW R0.

Erection of Junction boxes: The scope includes installation of junction box (Already dismantled) with proper support (Self supported with concrete footing or supported from existing structures of piping columns as per site conditions and instructed by EIC), glanding and termiation of multi core and individual cables, ferruling, crimping etc as per wiring drawing provided at site. as per the attached TPS : 32707-03-PS-001-R1 and Schedule of Items of work 32707-14-PS-001 SIW R0.

Erection of Individual cable: The scope includes laying of individual cables (1 pair & 1 triad) from junction box (JB1001) end to instruments, cable dressing, clamping (with aluminium clamps or SS wires) as per the attached TPS : 32707-03-PS-001-R1 and Schedule of Items of work 32707-14-PS-001 SIW R0.

Erection of Multicore cable : The scope includes laying of 12 pair multicore cable as per cable routing drawing and scope, cable dressing, clamping (with aluminium clamps or SS wires) etc included in scope of work. The scope also includes handing over of the balance cable to client. as per the attached TPS : 32707-03-PS-001-R1 and Schedule of Items of work 32707-14-PS-001 SIW R0.

Erection of OFC conduit (with OFC cable and power cable) : The scope includes laying of PVC conduit with OFC cable and power cable as per cable routing drawing and scope, cable dressing, clamping (with aluminium clamps or SS wires) etc included in scope of work. The scope also includes handing over of the balance conduit with cable to client.as per the attached TPS : 32707-03-PS-001-R1 and Schedule of Items of work 32707-14-PS-001 SIW R0.

Erection of Cable tray: The scope includes fixing of FRP cable tray (50mm width) with cover and clamped, supported by structural steel welded to piping supports. as per the attached TPS : 32707-03-PS-001-R1 and Schedule of Items of work 32707-14-PS-001 SIW R0.

Erection of Structural steel: The scope includes fabrication of stanchions for junction box & instruments, cable tray support etc as per the attached TPS : 32707-03-PS-001-R1 and Schedule of Items of work 32707-14-PS-001 SIW R0.
