Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-I) on prepared bitumen/granular surfaces and cleaned of dust and extraneous material with Mechanical/ Hydraulic brooms or any other approved equipment with bitumen emulsion at the rate of 0.20 Kg. per sqm. ( zero point two zero kilogram per square metre) with emulsion pressure distributor equipped for spraying uniformly complete as per MoRT&H technical specifications clause 503 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

The finished surface to be uniform and free from streaks and holes complete as per MORT&H specification clause 803 including hauling of material in all leads and lifts by all modes of transportation and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Supplying and fixing road stud 100x100mm ( one hundred into one hundred millimetres) diametres cast in aluminium resistant to corrosive effect of salt and grit, fitted with lense reflectors, installed in concrete or esphaltic surface by drilling holes 30mm (thirty millimetre) upto a depth of 600mm (six hundred millimetres) bedded in a suitable bituminious grout of epoxy mortar all as per BS 873 (part 4) 1973 including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Schedule-IV- Improvement works (Reconstruction or structural overlay and addition of new facilities)
Excavation in soil in hilly area all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of pick, jumper and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiseling, wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited ) and their intermediate classification of soil, setting out to the required line, grades, side slopes, trimming bottoms and level as shown on the drawing as per direction of Engineer-in-charge at site according to the MORT&H technical specifications clause 301 and sorting out useful/unuseful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in roadways camber embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all unuseful material on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation and carriage of all labour, machineries materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by all means (if required). All useful material such as stones, shingles, aggregates and stones shall be sorted and stacked along the road side. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.
Earth work in excavation for structures in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads clause 304.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated Suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Enginer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.
Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:3:6 (one cement : three sand : six graded, crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size) mechanically mixed, placed in foundation, levelling course below foundation of head walls and compacted by vibration including cost of form work and curing complete as per MORT&H specifications clause 2100 including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and any other incidental charges complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated P.C.C. M-15 (fifteen) grade for plain / reinforced concrete in foundation / sub structure complete as per drawings and as per MORT&H technical specifications clause 1500, 1700, 2100 / 2200 and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing, and laying reinforced cement concrete 1000mm (one thousand millimeter) diameter pipe NP3 as per design for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (one cement: two sand) but excluding excavations, protection works, back filling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets as per drawings and MoRT&H technical specifications clause 2900 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Back filling with granular material behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and MoRT&H technical specifications and clause 710.1.4 of IRC:78 complete including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing weepholes in brick masonry/ stone masonry / plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100mm dia.(one hundred millimetre diametre) PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1V:20H (one vertical isto twenty horizontal) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 2200, 2706 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 150mm ( one hundred fifty millimetre) and disposal of scarified material upto any lead and lift as per MoRT&H Technical Specifications including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of sizes 53-22.4mm (fifty three to twenty two point four millimetres) to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 (three) wheel steel vibratory roller 8-10 (eight to ten) tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading-III by mechanical means as per MoRT&H technical specification Clause 404 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and applying a primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base cleaned of dust and extraneous material with hydraulic broom or any other approved equipment and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 Kg./Sqm. (zero point six zero kilogram per square metre) using mechanical means as per MoRT&H technical specification clause 502 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
