REPAIR /MAINTENANCE OF STAND BY DG SETS FOR DGRE RDC MANALI AT AGE(I) R and D, MANALI

Excavation, in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr in depth for laying cable in hard/dense soil and getting out complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge..

Removal of surplus excavated material to a distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L Sand cushioning to under ground cable with dry sand locally available 8cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm above the cable, stretching and testing of cable complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out old unserviceable / serviceable class 'B' bricks from excavated trenches all as specied and directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note:- Serviceable class 'B' bricks kept in safe custody for reuse at site and unserviceable bricks to be through in low lying area.

Supply and laying old size sub class ‘B’ bricks well burnt for cable protections laid flat with length equal to width of brick over cable perpendicular to length of cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Laying only serviceable sub class ‘B’ bricks as retrieved from Srl item No 10 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Boring holes under road pavement by bocky manually in any type of soil upto 200 mm bore. Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and laying XLPE insulated armoured cable (heavy duty) electric cable with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 volts grade of following size after taking down complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge and directed as follows :

50 sqmm x 3.5 core

95 Sqmm x 3.5 Core

240 Sqmm x 3.5 Core

M&L for "B" Check DG set upto 400 KVA of any make DGRE RDC by taking out U/S spares, Cleaning by brushing to remove dust including labour for Changing engine oil, coolant etc to max level, adjustment belt tension,Tuning of engine, adjustment of speed, alternator voltage, frequency etc greasing oiling and checking electric connection, pollution level potentially tappet set desmantling DG for a complete service including turbo charger , injector pin, cylinder head and PT pump sevices For smooth functioning of DG Set ( Note :- Any spares,Engine oil,coolant,unserviceable spares required to be replaced shall be measured and paid separately under respective items) .
