REPAIRS TO LEVELLING, SAND FILLING AND MISC B/R REPAIR WORKS AT SMALL ARM RANGE AT AF STN JAMNAGAR

M&L for removing sand and saw dust mixed in ratio of 50:50 and screen fired/dummy bullets, any other debris, ploughing and refilling the same along firing range by spreading leveling to make the required level etc. in Small Arm Range complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note- (i) Measurement for filling in firing range shall be carried by stack measurement removed from existing firing range before filling by the contractor (ii) Measurement shall be carried out for net finished volume of earth filled subjected to 20% deduction due to bulkage.

M&L for sand filling by mixing of saw dust in ratio of 50:50 by spreading leveling to make the required level etc. in Small Arm Range complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note- (i) Sand and saw dust required for filling shall be brought out from out side MD Land under his own arrangement of contractor (ii) Sand shall be free from pebbles, stones, bushes, shrubs and other vegetation, black cotton soil (iii) Measurement for filling in small arm range shall be carried by stack measurement of the soil brought by the contractor (iv) Measurement shall be carried out for net finished volume of earth filled subjected to 20% deduction due to bulkage.

Removing old worn out (unserviceable) HDPE bags/gunny bags from stacks filled with sand etc and supply & placing in position new HDPE bags/gunny bags inner laminated layer standard quality, wt. of bag shall not be less than 90 Grams per bag and filled with locally available sand / soil (Approx. Qty -1.20 Cuft in each bags) including tying properly & stacking neatly, placing the bag at different heights for making pyramid for pin etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F pre- painted galvatume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for pre-painted galvalume aluminum Zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof ridges etc fixed with self drilling screws all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for

S&F roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlin, crane gantries, rail and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) (FE-410-W (Gde E-250) Quality-B) including distance pieces, cleats etc including steel is painted one shop coat of zinc chromate primer paint (including preparation of surface) at Contractor's workshop before fabrication, all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to I. S.1161-1979 grade St.-240, all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry / PCC block masonry, built in cement or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete, all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
