Supply, installation and testing of waterless and maintenance free Earth (grounding) Electrodes of overall size Dia 85 mm x Length 3000 mm with copper bonded MS round rod, size Dia 17.2 mm x Length 3000 mm. Earth electrodes should be either Pre cast or Cast in situ in high quality electrically conductive aggregates (Make: Marconite or Equivalent), having resistivity of 0.001 Ω-m and ph value in the neutral range (To be provide certificate to this effect from the manufacturer). Pre cast earth electrode should be placed in a trench of minimum depth of 3000 mm or In situ cast of earth electrode should be by directly filling the voids around the metal conductor in a bore hole of size Dia 85 mm x Depth 3000 mm, with slurry of concrete of electrically conductive aggregate, cement & water. Resulting in increasing of the contact surface area of the of the earth electrode and to achieve the desired earth resistance value of < 5 Ω permanently without the need of periodic watering, recharge or any maintenance during it’s entire life of 10 years in the all types of soil including dry, rocky or soil having boulders & gravels etc. Desired earth resistance value of < 5 Ω shall be achieved with required number of multiple interconnected earth electrodes, as per the design calculations / soil resistivity of the location of the installation. Electrically conductive aggregate (Earth enhancing material) of Pre cast / In-situ cast electrodes should not leack into adjacent soil or underground water channels complete all as specified and directed by AGE (I) and as per the description and relevant provisions and design condition in Particular Specification here in after. NOTE:- The cost of the following shall be included in the quoted rate by the tenderer :- (i) Supply and laying of copper bonded MS strip of size width 25 mm x Thickness 6 mm, horizontally in a trench at a depth of 600 mm below the surface level to interconnect the multiple earth electrodes with embedding of strip in high quality electrically conductive aggregate with cement and water, size: 70 sqmm x full length (upto 3M length) and then cover the horizontal trench with sieved / fresh field / paddy soil and dress to a level surface. Make shall be Marconite or Equivalent, having resistivity of 0.001 Ω-m and ph value in the neutral range. (To be provide certificate to this effect from the manufacturer) (Marconoite embedded copper bonded MS strip of size 25mmX 6mm of beyond 3M shall be measured and paid separately here in after)

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cmx 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level connected to and including galvanized iron strip 32 x 6mm as earthing lead by means of bolt, and nut, check nuts and washer of galvanized iron or steel upto earth test point dully connected all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Standard Schedule part I including excavation & earth work in any type of soil, providing charcoal dust and common salt upto 15 cm above top edge of earth plate in alternate layers, construction of PCC pit in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-1 with 50 mm thick precast RCC cover 1:2:4 type B-1 reinforced with 8 mm dia MS round bars @ 150mm center to center both ways, watering arrangement with funnel and wire mesh and watering pipe of 20mm bore GI medium grade and 40mm bore light grade pipe for earth lead protection and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Earth strip upto 7.5m length is included in the quoted rates of this item).

M&L for Air termination, single pointed, copper rod 12mm dia and 300 mm long with U shape clamp of aluminium with suitable nut and bolt on roof including dismantling and taking down unsv one complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Aluminium strips 25x3.15 mm fixing along wall/roof etc with insulators, screw, saddles for roof conductors down conductor and connecting with test point properly on existing OTM/Md Accn including dismentling and taking down existing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for GI Strip 32x6 mm buried in ground/ fixing along wall/ roof etc with insulators, screw, saddle for roof conductor /down conductor and connecting with test point properly on existing Accn including dismantling and taking down existing complete all as specified and directed

M&L for copper strips 25x4 mm buried in ground/ fixing along wall/ roof etc with insulators, screw, saddle for roof conductor /down conductor and connecting with test point properly on existing Accn including dismantling and taking down existing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for RCC, 1:2:4 type B1 earth pit cover of size 45x45x5 cm reinforced with 8 mm TMT bar 100 mm C/C suitable for earth pit all as specified and directed.

Brick work with old size, sub class ‘B’ bricks (locally available best quality) straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing common salt for repair/ maintenance of existing earthings at domestic & technical area including connecting of eath strips complete all as per directed.

M&L for providing bentonite powder for repair/ maintenance of existing earthings (25 kg pkt) at domestic & technical area including connecting of eath strips complete all as per directed.

M&L for providing magnesium sulphate for repair/ maintenance of existing earthings at domestic & technical area including connecting of eath strips complete all as per directed.

M&L for providing funnel for existing earthings at domestic & technical area complete all as per directed.

Taking down street light fittings any type from 8.5/9 mtr pole/ ceiling & top of the building/ other similar situation and keep in safe costudy for reuse serviceable fittings/parts, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fix and testing of LED flood light made up of pressure die cast aluminium housing with toughened glass with IP66 protection, high power LEDs and secondary optics as light source, 200 Watts 230 volts, complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Surya/ Havells/Wipro/Crompton/Bajaj.

Fixing only serviceable street light fitting obtained from item No 14 above in existing position or new location including connection complete all as specified and directed.

S & F cable junction boxes weather proof outdoor installation for loop connection of street light cable of size 205x255x112 mm with 5 pole terminals fixed on pole steel/PCC with suitable two flat iron clamp 25x4mm with nuts and bolts (duly painted with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer) with provision for cable entry and exit and making holes on steel pole where required, including taking down existing unserviceable junction box, complete all as specified and directed. M & L for street light bracket made out of GI pipe light grade 40mm dia 1.2 metre length bent to shape required by cutting, welding and well finishing including MS clamp of flat iron of size 40x6 suitable length 2 Nos complete with drilling, hole, fixing with nuts bolts and washers including painted with two coats of aluminium paints over a coat of red oxide primer and dismantling of existing unserviceable bracket, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement of PVC insulated and sheathed (ISI marked) stranded copper conductor 1.5 Sqmm size, 3 core round cable for street light connection from fitting connector to terminal box including all fixing arrangement, complete all as specified and directed.
