Construction of PHC Level-II at Kota Pab, Tehsil Kamrou, Distt Sirmaur (H.P).

Excavation in earth work in hilly area all heights & depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by mechanical means shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiselling & wedging out rock ( where mechanical work is prohibited ). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawing or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge , in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road, August, 2004 and clause 16.2 of General Conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling & stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites & safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner including arrangement of dumping site, trimming, filling of unevenness, blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for smooth riding including all leads and lifts. Any loss to the public & private property during the course of excavation shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Excavation work by mechanbical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains ( Not exceeding 1.50 meter in width or 10 square metres on plan ), including dressing of sides & ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.50 metre, including getting out the excavated soil & disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within all lead & lifts Ordinary rock ( As per code No. 2.9.1 page 65 )

Supplying & filling in plinth with sand under floors, including watering,ramming,consolidating & dressing complete, including all leads, lifts & carriage of materials & to entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. ( As per code No. 2.27 page 68 )

Stone/ boulder filling behind retaining wall/ under flooring, including all leads, lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfication of the Engineer-in-Charge.( As per code No. 6.3.1 Page 94 )

Providing & laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centring & shuttering-All work upto plinth level in cement concrete 1 : 4 : 8 (One cement : four coarse sand : eight graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size ) including all leads, lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfication of the Engineer-in-Charge. ( As per code No. 4.1.8 Page 73 )

Providing & laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centring & shuttering-All work upto plinth level in cement concrete 1 : 5 : 10 ( One cement : five coarse sand : ten graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size ) including all leads, lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfication of the Engineer-in-Charge.( As per code No. 4.1.10 Page 73 )

Providing & laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls ( any thickness ) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapet coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, Sunken floor etc., upto floor five level, excluding the cost of centring, shuttering & finishing 1 : 1.5 : 3 ( One cement : one & half coarse sand : three graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size ) including all leads, lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfication of the Engineer-in-Charge.( As per code No. 4.2.2 Page 73 )

Making plinth protection 50 mm thick of cement concrete 1 : 3 : 6 ( One cement : three coarse sand ( Zone-III ) : six graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size ) over 75 mm thick bed of dry brick ballast 40mm nominal size, well rammed & consolidated & grouted with fine sand, including necessary excavation, levelling & dressing & finishing the top smooth including all leads, lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfication of the Engineer-in-Charge. Providing & laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centring, shuttering, finishing & reinforcement-All work upto plinth level in 1 : 1.5 : 3 ( One cement: one & half coarse sand : three graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size ) including all leads, lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfication of the Engineer-in-Charge.( As per code No. 5.1.2 Page 79 )

Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness) , including attached pilasters,buttresses, plinth & string courses, fillets, columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts & struts etc. above plinth level upto floor five level, excluding cost of centring, shuttering, finishing & reinforcement in 1:1.5:3 ( One cement : one & half coarse sand : three graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size ), including all leads, lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfication of the Engineer-in-Charge.( As per code No. 5.2.2 Page 79 )
